S'okay. I know not everyone went out and bought the game guides for the first two gens like I did. And not everyone still has three fully functioning games from the first two generations.
Last I checked, I still maintain working copies of three games from the first two generations (Yellow, Gold, and Silver). I also still have a game guide for G/S; since I didn't have one for Yellow, I had to improvise most of my tactics for that one.

Yeah... I have Red, Blue, and Silver that still work. Yellow died earlier this year. And my Red/Blue guide didn't survive in its entirety... I think I've got 6 total pages from it left. XD And my GS guide was initially borrowed from a cousin and then I went out and bought my own after giving it back. That's still mostly intact.

I think all my first gen. GBC games (Yellow and Red, that is) still work.

Gold and Crystal are dead, though :[ Haven't checked Silver in a while, soooo...

My Crystal battery died. Really pissed me off. So, I mean, technically it works it just doesn't SAVE.

I always buy the guides for the Pokedex sections. Need that fo'sure 8D

Used game stores have the original games for $12 or less usually.

Might pick one up one of these days honestly. I need a healthy line of nostalgia to stimulate me. Coke just ain't doing it these days.

The one closest to me that actually carries older used games has 'em at $25. ;~;

That's pricey oO;

There's a nice shop in the next town over. Echo Games. I think it is a chain but much more fair than corporate affairs such as EBgames.

Oh, you people and your game stores.
If Play N Trade weren't so far away, that would be my store.
I usually go to Gamestop otherwise :(

In Vegas, there is not that many independent shops..
But there are lots of GameStops...
I always go there. :D

Yeah, All I ever see around my area is Game Stops. No private owned shops or anything else.

I live in Arizona... Still not much here, at the moment. >> But, meh. Beats having to go through allergies back in good ol' NJ. :( I miss New Jersey, sometimes. ;~;

Minnesota has Mall of America, which is amazing. The 'independent' used gaming booth there sucks though, charges outrageous prices. The two gamestop locations are better. Now that I think about it, why does MOA need to Gamestops?
