Those friends of hers involved with the movie would most likely have been doing grunt work like inbetweening.

Full animation can be very tedious and expensive to produce. That's why just about all animation is limited nowadays (and has been for many decades), or at least that's how I understand things.

Actually no, they did additional animation, and a couple did some cleanup. It isn't bad considering they just graduated 2 years ago. To work on feature even if it's "grunt work" is still pretty impressive. Just sayin'

And I don't believe in that 2012 stuff. Though the speculation stuff can be fun/cool.
