Princess Mononoke was okay and I never saw Bridge of Teribithia (though I heard it was horrible). I want to see Pursuit of Happiness, but I just haven't had time. My favorite anime movie is still definitely Akira.

I hear they were tossing around the idea of making a live action Akira. How epic would that be?

Ditto. I love the anime, and all of music. I may rewatch the series at some point, though. ^_^

I haven't seen that many anime movies, but of those I've seen(all based on long-running series), I'll have to go with Fullmetal Alchemist: Conqueror of Shamballah. I think I've watched this one three times. XD

As for Disney movies, sorries Fia, but methinks my favourite is The Little Mermaid. :P

It's not:

Fast enough.
Bright enough.
Vibrant enough.

Just because it flashes that doesn't mean it causes seizures. Not all flashing things give seizures. Also, it's a bit ironic that you would post something completely off topic when in that quote there is a big flashing image saying "STAY ON TOPIC" X3

Anyways, I did not like The Little Mermaid. I guess it was just..a little late for me. :[

That's Howl's Moving Castle, and it was mentioned on the last page, ahahaha.
 
You know what are a couple of great animes though? Hajime no Ippo and Berserk. Those to my two most favorite animes of all time. Currently following the second series of Hajime no Ippo that started airing in Japan in January this year!!! :)
 
I can't get into anime at all. I've tried, but it just doesn't appeal to me, lol.

However I have watched Naruto, YuYu Hakasho, YuGiOh, and Dragonball Z when I was younger. Those were the best in my opinion.
 
I never heard of the first one, but I would say that Yu-Gi-Oh! and Dragonball Z would be the best when I was growing up as well.
 
You've never heard of Naruto? That's unbelievable, lol.

Even my cousin's know who Naruto is and they don't even watch anime, let alone Cartoon Network...

You can't make a good appraisal of the medium as a whole using those lowest-common-denominator shounen pieces of dreck as a basis.

:/ Holy ****. If Mage doesn't like it, Mage doesn't like it. People can like different things you know. Do you think some boring mecha anime is gonna make a difference? Nah, it's full of cheap animations of cutout robots that slide in and out of the screen to represent them "flying" haha!! The only good robot stuff is in some Evangelion scenes where they were directed by someone who actually knows their stuff and had budget.


And as for me, I'm totally a fan of Miyazaki's stuff. Everyone totally needs to watch the scene in Spirited away where Sen is trying to go down the steep stairs.. the movement is so hesitant.. so realistic. It's like what a young kid would really do in a situation! And then he adds a twist to it by throwing in comedy to something that would honestly be REALLY scary!
It's so beautiful!

But as for my favourite? I couldn't really say..

Does it bother you so much as to actually reply to my post? Those are my favorite anime shows; it doesn't mean you have to like them and doesn't mean you can bash on them.

Besides I just liked the render I found. Doesn't mean I like the actual anime nor do I hate it.

Well, Inuyasha gets...repetitive. Plus, I'm too busy watching Trigun and FMA.
 
I never really got into Inuyasha. I only really ever watch anime online, and I only follow one anime at a time. I don't know how so many people can keep up with so many anime series at once. I mean I know I could do it, but it's a tad overwhelming @.@
 
The only Anime I really watch is Gurren Lagann, Bleach, Code Geass and Soul Eater. D:
