Espeically their salads which have over 1,000 calories. Only McDonalds could ruin a the nutritional value of a salad..Leave the coffee to Starbucks, hehe.
When McDonald's included salads.. I lol'd. The irony. A salad cannot save you from gaining the ten pounds..
I know there's an intersection in downtown Toronto that has a Starbucks on one corner, a Second Cup on another corner, and then another Starbucks on another corner. I dunno if it's still like that but I always found it ridiculous--especially since they were all always full. XD; So yeah, they're everywhere.
I don't remember where it was but one of the people I follow on twitter linked to a site that had a list of the top 10 "dishes" at various fast food joints for sheer calorie intake. One of them was a salad--it was the fattiest (or whatever the word would be here) thing on the whole menu for the fast food joint it was at. I think it was Taco Bell or something. @_@ But yeah, even the salad isn't too healthy at some fast food places, I'd wager.
Maybe it wasn't Taco Bell then. D: I know it showed a picture of a salad... unless they just googled salad and showed the first fast food-esque image that came up haha.You do realize that Taco Bell "salads" aren't actually salads, right?

They are very wrong, McDonalds themselves say a Big Mac is over 1,500 calories. A whopper according to Burger King is worse. Or just slightly better.
A Big Mac is about 540 calories, plus a butt load of sodium. The real problem is when this is combined with fries and a sugary drink (which could very well top 1500 calories). Long story short: proceed with caution.
Yeah ._. It's the fries that are a killer, too! So much sodium/salt .__. It tastes so good, though.. but that kinda stuff you should only be having once in a while if at all. @@;;
And you can always go for diet soda instead of regular. Some people might not be willing to, but it isn't a problem for me since I prefer diet.
