There's a definite difference in taste between regular and diet varieties of sodas, but in the end, I really have no preference. I drink whatever's available.

I can't tell the difference between diet or regular but since diet is healthier, I choose diet.

Um.. Diet drinks or sugar free drinks are not healthier, yes they have less sugar but there is an overuse of caffine and chemicals in them to substitiute the sugar. In some studies also it has been proven to lead to weight gain.

Same here. As long as I can drink or eat it...it's fine by me. =|

Well as long as it's safe to eat. XD

And you can always go for diet soda instead of regular. Some people might not be willing to, but it isn't a problem for me since I prefer diet.

Does anyone remember the movie Super Size Me? There was a guy in that movie who ate like 5 Big Macs every day, and he was still really skinny.

Diet sodas have aspartame though @@; And like.. if you've heard of people who try dieting by drinking diet stuff.. and then going into mad withdrawal when trying to get off that stuff.. it's horrible..

and yeah I've heard studies like that, too, xxemeneminyxx .__.

I don't drink cola with caffeine. Also, it is healthier for people who have to maintain blood sugar, according to my doctor. And I believe the key words are "some studies." Ever since I switched to diet, I have not only lost weight but I have had a lot more energy. And I reiterate the fact that I don't drink cola with caffeine.

I have never had any withdraws or cravings when cutting out diet cola from my diet. o.o; Maybe that's just me?

Yeah weight gain is for some, but by and by Diet is way unhealthier!

Best way in my opinion (and my approach) is I eat whatever I want (in moderation of course) and just continue to workout like normal. So long as you stay active and continue to burn calories and fat and keep your lungs and heart healthy, you can eat whatever you want.

Of course though, moderation is a huge key in that method.

I don't really care about which one is healthier, but I find that Diet tastes nicer on most occassions.
