Umm... ew? Gross topic is gross. Chicken parts sound better to me, pigs are to dirty.

I can't remember where I read about it, but pigs are actually hygienically very clean. Not necessarily clean to eat, but they are clean of parasites (though the recent naming of H1N1 hasn't helped their reputation).

I'd take chicken over pig everyday, though.

So, do you guys watch realities?
I couldn't agree more.

And with realities, does that mean reality TV shows or is that a specific show?
If it's the reality TV show genre, I do.

Only you cant get the H1N1 from eating pig..and whoever thinks you can..well they are in the words of GavZ..weeetarrdeed!

Yes, I mean it's common sense. Some of the major reasons why cooking things good is to get ride of bacteria, parasites, and viruses. But even if you ate raw pig meat infected with H1N! you couldn't get it, the acids would neutralize it. AKA kill it.

I guess those people just assumed it was the same as when bird flu was around.

Good thing it isn't, pork is nice. :D

..It's the same, kind of. You can get it from under-cooked meat. Also, it was never around. :| It never broke out, it's still rarely occuring in southern Asia. There were just people going "ZOMG FLU RUN H5N1!!11!" but it never broke out.

Oh, I meant that as when it was being spread through poultry. The whole scare about not eating chicken (unless it was cooked properly) back then was pretty much the same initial response this time.

What's with people's responses to different kinds of flu anyway?
They always go point on the said "source" of the flu and create a "scare."

Though it's good on the chicken and pigs lives, since they don't end up eaten. XD

Someone's going to read that and attempt to get it from eating pig JUST TO PROVE YOU WRONG!

You can also get swine flu when you are in closer contact with poeple who have it. atm its on mallorca, thats a vacation island. haha, funny.

As long as the vaccination becomes available before the winter, Swine Flu would logically be a lot stronger then.
