I was thinking the same thing. XD;What's wrong with Rosetta Stone as a name for a language program? I think that's quite clever.

And buying online rocks. @__@ I was just able to start making online purchases and I <3 it. :D
The Rosetta stone was used to Translate Egyptian. It is stupid when they have it for things as simple as French and Spanish.
Online rocks, until you actually get rocks. This kid made his mom buy a dslite and inside was rocks.
I'm a year ahead in History, and I know full well what the Rosetta Stone is. Feign, isn't it a bit OTT to suggest they shouldn't be able to use it, though? I mean, that's what it was, so why not name a modern version after it as a tribute?I get the feeling that young people don't know what the Rosetta Stone was >>;
STUDY YOUR HISTORY.

OTT: 'over the top'
I think they were just making a point that we can't always preserve historical references, they're gonna get used in reference to other things at some point.

Sorta. My point is, Feign, that you compare it to naming your company God, Jesus, da Vinci, or something, in that it's disrespectful(?) I prefer to see it as the company or whatever paying homage to the original, ie they're honoring the Rosetta Stone by calling their program that.
