YOU'RE NOT A KRATOS FAN ANYMORE WHAT.
It's true that the Abyss cast did blend together more, I guess. I felt it was a bit forced though how they began to like Luke and were willing to go so far for him after he was such a jerk. Well, they all pretty much were a cast of jerks...except for Ion. But Ion died because he wasn't ontop of the whole 'jerk' thing so yeah. Oh, and Tear wasn't either. But...it had it's DEEP THOUGHTS points, but not as often as Symphonia did. Everyone had a backstory you could investigate for a better replay value. You didn't get to know everyone by the end of the first playthrough. With Abyss, you didn't have that 'snow scene' type ordeal like in Symphonia. They characters were kinda seethrough if you ask me about Abyss. You expected all of their movements. With Symphonia, not so much.
I've had a Zelos theme every year except for last year.
