And people say English is the hardest language to learn :/

How does me, a foreigner, know more English than an American?

Except that's the awesome thing about math. It's a universal language! :) Show any student 3x=6 and, assuming they've learnt their stuff, they can tell you that x=2 no matter where they are. ♥

That's assuming they've learnt their stuff..

Just like assuming someone knows the language.

I think the only thing that's pretty much universal is body tone/ language and senses of excitement, fear, and other emotions.. :/

True that. :D

Aside from math, languages are pretty odd. The whole world should totally vote on one language and stick to it.

I actually disagree with this.. Although it'd be nice because then people would be able to communicate with others.. lots of cultures would be lost.
Certain things within a culture are really shown through speech. For example, French being the language of love, and Italian being a really enthusiastic songlike language. German being harsh and Spanish flowy. Even English has a certain charm in the language and culture that would be lost if everyone in that country began speaking Japanese, for example.

What is everyone talking about? Sexual harassment is understandable by everyone.

Tell me that again when an old lady with herpes crawls up behind you, chains you up, and starts touching your private parts. Don't be disgusting. There are lots of people in the world who were put in really bad situations and that's just really harsh of you to even say that. I can't even take it as a joke :/ It's serious.

They could just make it mandatory to learn a second language.

To be honest, it can only be counted as sexual harassment if you don't approve of it.
So who said the old lady had herpes? :(

Don't think I even said anything offensive, just said everyone could understand it :x

You said understandable.. which is a synonym for reasonable, acceptable, justifiable, normal, natural, inevitable, forgivable, and rational.

Hence why it's pretty offensive. If you said "everyone can understand it" it actually means something different, so if you meant that, I'm not disagreeing with you.

I was going to reply with "What the hell is binary code?!" but then I realized that that's what Google is for.

Eh. I think he meant it in the context of 'knowing what it is and when you are being sexually harassed'

You have to read context, not take everyone literally with all possible meanings of what they say

No, understandable is in no way a synonym for those. :|

I just looked it up to reinforce my point on my mac dictionary which references directly off of the Oxford dictionary.. :/ If you think otherwise, take it up with Oxford and Steve Jobs.

Patchy: Maybe that's what your context was, but I read it the other way.. which is also just as accurate.
As I stated earlier, if he did also state that he meant it as "everyone can understand it" I am not disagreeing with him, because I believe that, too.

Wait... what's there to know about being sexually harassed aside from the fact that someone wants in your pants? What other context is there? Haha, I don't get it.
