Char may have been referring to the school year, not the actual season, which goes until September weather-wise here in the Midwest, even if it's not what some Californians would call summer weather.

Hell, some Missourians think that's cold for the summer. And they think we live inside igloos year round up here in Minnesota sometimes. XD

Actually, as in when school starts up again. That's anywhere from mid-August to early September up here. And, in that sense, the summer's already halfway done. (b'-')b

It's 88 F in Minneapolis, but it's only 84 F where I am. It actually feels pretty nice compared to earlier this week. That humidity made 70 F feel like 85 F.

And LA's at 91 F, while Chi-Town is at 90 F.

You've got that whole "Lake Effect" thing going on that's keeping you cool, though. And there's only 1.7 million or so people who live in and around Milwaukee, compared to 3.2 million in the metro for Minneapolis, so you've also got a smaller urban heat effect going on.

It was partially the brand, partially the hardware, and partially the quality of the hardware that made it cost so much. It was a Sony Vaio FW, and it's now over a year old. (b'-')b

You could just go to Craigslist and get it much cheaper probably, but I guess it comes at a significantly higher(but still low) chance of being in danger.
