I think a better course of action would've been to add more lakes and rivers, since most people actually never go out into the ocean.
There hasn't been a major river in any region has there? I think it would be pretty neat if there was one major river that went through a whole region :3

I beat Red with one level 97 Charizard :O
It depends on how strong your team is anyways.

@Luck: Which Pokemon is Munna again? :3

Hi.
Water making up most of the world etc. Hoenn having more water than land added a sense of realism.

I never saw what was so alluring about realism. I like games like Pokemon and Final Fantasy because they rely on what isn't natural. I guess it depends on how realistic you make the game, because I can't imagine a game(especially a FPS) that's realistic to be successful.

Hoenn had a couple of rivers, but none of them were really that major, and the one that came the closest was more like an ocean channel.

Yea. There was to much surfing involved there :/

@Hoenn was supposed to based on an island? O.o

That is an amazing idea...now I really want one of those in my pokemon games ;3
Does anybody know if they have that in Isshu, looking by the maps?

Would it really matter, there are bridges everywhere anyways D:

Spoiler:

Its pretty much like a peninsula D:

If you look at a map of Japan, Hoenn actually looks like a rotated Kyushu.

Sinnoh is most certainly based off of Hokkaido in terms of shape. (b'-')b

I've seen that said/shown on multiple occasions pretty much everywhere I go that's Pokemon related online. (b'-')b
Ohh. Is Isshu supposed to be based on a city in Japan or New York city?

Aren't there still people finding that out and posting in Pokemon General about it occasionally?

I'm pretty sure that was established earlier on the page. It most certainly looks like New York in terms of the lay of the land, with the "peninsula" actually representing the island of Manhattan.

I'm pretty sure there still are people who are just finding out about that stuff. (b'-')b

Isshu looks so...artificial =/
Everything is so perfect and in line, and its all about the big cities and seperate sections. It just looks weird to me. It is really cool, but weird.

Good to know I'm not the only person who views Isshu like that XD

If you look at a map of New York, that's actually close to what New York looks like. Quite a bit of fill-in was used to make New York's land look like it does today.

Thats true, but it still looks pretty weird to me for some reason :/

Hopefully the routes are good :D
