No... this is just me basing it off of popular American culture. 10% of 300 million people is 30 million, so if there were 5 million American males who'd willingly be caught in a pink Mustang, that's only about 3% of American males.

We don't have road trains here in the US. I read somewhere it's because our roads are wimpy. I'd vouch for that... the main road on my college campus is closed because it could collapse and "fail" (word used by the college).

The president of our anime club called it "Epic Road Fail." XD

Road trains are used mostly between Adelaide and Darwin just because it is pretty much in the middle of nowhere. XD

I never took that route though, I flew from Perth to Alice Springs, then took the Greyhound north to Darwin. I took the train from Adelaide to Perth though. XD
