I like my desktop better than a dinky laptop. Besides, there are too many weiners running around Starbucks and Borders with them D:

I don't know why you would be carrying a laptop around with you in the first place. You'd need a connection close to you(AFAIK, but I heard about Internet sticks, which I know nothing of), and usually you could just go to the library and do it. And most laptops suck. Mac created a crappy thin laptop that needs a separate port just so it could play CDs :/
BUT IT CAN FIT INTO A VANILLA FOLDER, SO IT MUST BE COOL.
 
I wouldn't say moving from a laptop to a desktop is a "downgrade". I'd only say it were so if something like what you've experienced happened. Most desktops have substantially more power than laptops from the same era.

Well, you have a few misconceptions of laptops. some are quite capable compared to their competitors. And a lot of people like having their own computer when their on the go. I know I dislike using the school computers - less privacy, and less freedom to use it for what I want (if someone needs it for school stuff and you're using it for personal stuff, you get the boot). Also, most laptops available now have dual core processors, which didn't exist as recently as 2005 in any computer, and took a good year or two to be widespread. In my opinion, the biggest issue with laptops is the way they do their video cards (a lot don't have a separate card, which is annoying).

And the MacBook Air is basically a netbook, therefore your gripe about it is invalid (I still don't like it because it's so fragile, though).

in the slowpoke skin, is the slowpoke avatar thing going to go away? :< I love this skin but I also love making my own avatars.
 
Yeah, Mork said he'd remove it tomorrow so I don't have to dig through the code to see his original edit. XD;
 
We've done so many good AF pranks that it's just... hard to top previous years, you know? :( Originally we were only gonna shuffle the boards around which is laaaaaaame so I'm just glad someone came up with the Slowpoke idea (because I thought it was really cute).

And I think the first Todoroki year, there was a fake mod lounge that was started in March and the staff spammed it up so that when Todoroki "hacked", he could make it public so people could see it and it caused a lot of drama. But that's all I can think of.

Yeeeaaahhh I think that was it! It was a pretty good one. People were like going all "OH MAN DID YOU SEE THAT?" and all gossip got started so it was soooo good.

Haha, yeah, though a lot of damage control had to be done because a lot of people fell for the prank and thought PC had been hacked and were swearing their heads off at Todoroki. XD;

I first heard that paradox just... yesterday, I think, haha.
