Nothing.. it just feels.. wrong to me somewhy.

It's probably just a matter of what you are used to. Everyone has issues with something, as we all were raised in a society filled with prejudice/discrimination. I saw you mention that you were lesbian, so obviously that is what you are used to and sure, there is probably a bit of sexism mixed in there as well merely because of being so used to a certain gender. But everyone is like that a little bit, as I said. It is almost impossible for a person these days to be a little sexist, racist, etc. As unfortunate as it is..

Although gay and lesbian relationships are the same, it's just what you are used to.
Nothing is wrong with that, as long as you aren't rude or hurtful about it.

But this is a rather controversial subject for the DCC, no?

Shush, these controversial subjects help my post count.

My bad. I'm not lesbian, I'm bisexual.

I try not to look at homosexual relationships any different than regular ones because of my overall viewpoint of love and personal taste. I believe love in itself ought to consist of companionship, understanding and compassion between two people, I suppose what I'm trying to say is that a romantic relationship ought to consist of two people understanding each other on a more deeper, spiritual level and finding chemistry in their very own made bond. It certainly doesn't take being a specific gender for that to be possible, it depends on how comfortable you are with yourself and how you feel about opening up to another person, then perhaps taking that further.

Male or female, we're all human beings therefore it is very much possible to feel these emotions build up, and even for our hormones to do cross-country runs. It's just considered such a wide taboo to be in a same-sex relationship and that parasite creates the prejudice that surrounds our everyday lives.

Heterosexual male here; in the past six months, two of my male best friends have told me they're bisexual and one's even found himself in a relationship with another boy. It doesn't exactly gross me out and I respect who he is, but at the same time it feels sort of odd. I'm not homophobic and I'd say that a lot of people my age would have the same views as me. Then again, I have a friend who is utterly against gays and attempted telling me they're disgusting and need to stop doing what they do in public... in front of one of my closet bisexual friends. I don't think my opinions on the homosexual/bisexual community would be as tame as they are if it wasn't for people I know online, friends I made here, who managed to show me we're all people; makes me wonder if my friend is ever going to mature his view or if he's gonna stay close-minded forever.

Some people just have certain issues that their minds can't be changed on.
