It never gets anywhere near that temperature where I live. The weather changes from day to day, and our weather forecasters are predicting that our summer has already ended. It kinda sucks, but I'm heading back to CT and the weather there is humid and muggy all the time... although it did hit 99 F in June! :D

Crossing the English Channel or stopping over in Jersey? We used to get a lot of tourists from England, but now we hardly get any. I've seen a few commercials on some TV stations advertising the island though.

I don't take vacations, I'm just not a vacation kind of person. Even if I was, it would take too long for me to get the money to get a relaxing vacation.

I haven't really been on many vacations since I was kid. I know I went to Ibiza when I was about 4, but other than that the majority of summers I've either stayed at home or we've made the odd day trip to France. It takes about an hour on a boat to get to Saint Malo, and that's quite an attractive tourist stop. I know it was a big deal for us to go over to London in 2001 because I went to a Doctor Who convention, but yeah, I wish we'd been able to go to move exciting and exotic places. D:
 
I'd die for a holiday, but my family members usually tear each other to pieces when we go anywhere. XD;; I was planning a trip to Japan around this time of the year for 2010, but it fell through when my parents were unable to help me because we built a house and it was expensive. Can't complain too much, though, because it's a nice house, an investment for the future, and heck, no more bad neighbourhood! ^_^

Oh. Lucky you. I might just instead move to my uncles house. I don't exactly live in a safe neighborhood. Like I said before last week 2 police officers were shot and killed.
 
That's awful, there were some incidents of rioting and murder recently in my old neighbourhood too. I hope you can get out of there, those kinds of places are toxic to live in. =(
 
My neighborhood rarely got those stuff. I think the worst I got was when a man got killed 2 years ago close to my bus stop.

And Atreyu is awesome.

I know what you mean.
I mean i hate it here. Now just 2 years ago, rated the most dangerous place to live in the US. 80% of the murders don't even go up on the news anymore D:
