I love how confused people seem about some pretty clear-cut mechanics. Try reading a little? Thinking a bit?

Spreading out damage is actually a decent idea this early in the game. Literally nothing we do is going to simply out another player, and the way you guys have been talking about it simply sounds foolish. By spreading out damage we make sure no one really dies the first day, and since it doesn't say which players have received what damage, it's unlikely that they'll be killed by the baddies without a lucky hit.

Also, it seems pretty likely that there's some healer roles in the game, don't you think?

When someone mentioned that Foxrally had died already, I expected to come in here and see some dumb ass bandwagon against him. At least people weren't that stupid and it was just because gimmepie is op.

This lol. I'm putting zero faith in any third party role with that kind of power. Especially when it's gimmepie, lol.

Also, if he's telling the truth and it's unlikely that he'll be killed for a few days even if everyone attacks him . . . well, hell, it makes more sense to attack him now, doesn't it? He's outed himself as third party and, according to him, it's unlikely that we'll be able to kill him anytime soon no matter how hard we try. Wouldn't it be better to whittle down the health of a confirmed third party powerhouse rather than potentially killing an innocent by accident? I think yes. So, with that said

also, @machomuu: that'd only be the case if pie was lying, and if he is, more reason to kill him. And as long as the attack is still counted for the day, I'm perfectly fine with wasting it rather than making a tragic mistake in hitting a useful hero.

It is possible for different factions to work alongside each other, most of you are in FDL - hell, Naku created FDL. You should know pretty well that a third party working with you can work perfectly well.
 
Lol great defense. The mafia can't just "run rampant." They can attack us at night, sure, but they're less dangerous than you, of that I have no doubt. If they decide to run rampant during the day . . . well that would be silly of them, now wouldn't it? Would paint some pretty nice targets on their backs that I'd be happy to aim for.

EDIT: With that in mind, we don't know if he has crazy health because there's yet to be an announcement. I mean, only real way to say is to infer that you have a pretty high attack stat yourself, Mana, but I'll chalk that up to pure assumption on your part.

I don't know why you think I've decided he has high health, check Gimme's posts he's saying it over and over... My attack stat isn't enough to even do 1/4 damage to a villager :P lmao.

Encouraging people to go after me will inevitably extend to the night regardless of if you want it to or not. Besides, it's going to legitimately take you at least two days to kill me if not more. So regardless of targets being painted, that still gives them plenty of time to cause pandemonium amongst you whilst you all attack me - an ally.

You're a lot better off with me on your side than dead.

I don't think so at all. This is mafia: even if I trusted you under normal circumstances, I sure as hell wouldn't trust you now haha.

The only people that will attack during the night phase, need I remind you, are the terrors. If they decide to focus on you during the night, then good for them. Though I imagine the hag will keep whittling away at the swine prince. He's an enemy of hers and she now knows who he is, so that would be her best strategy. As for the rest of them, I wouldn't mind at all if they focused on you during the night.

And during the next day? If we get no new information, it would still just be random votes regardless. Attacking you is a much better alternative than getting a hero killed, so I'm not sorry nor will I cease and desist just because you might side with us later on. If you're as powerful as you claim, you won't die all that soon and it would be a great thing to take your health down a notch so that we can finish you off later if need be.

I do not consider you an ally and I have no interest in protecting my enemies.

Also, since there's only one villager in the game, it would probably be in their best interest to out themselves. They've probably already lost a significant portion of their health (five damage seems like a lot to a Villager), and it would be prudent for the terrors to turn their attention away from a lowly villager anyways. This would also give said villager a chance to heal.

Of course, it's not at all necessary. Just a suggestion.

Yes, I know there's more than one villager in the game. I also know who two of them are thanks to slip ups, but I'm not going to say anything about that because that's just unfair to the game and its players.

Yes. Yes I am. Quite frankly, everyone should be. It's pretty obvious that his is the role pm that literally just says "create some chaos."

So is it a bad thing to be afraid of an op third party role? It's not a great idea for you to be voting me, unless of course you're scum. c:

I like how you used me as an example even when you weren't even part of the game itself lol. I only betrayed them because I could've win either way. Initially I chose siding with innos 'cause it's a lot more easier, but I noticed that I have a chance to win solo as well, so I went for the route that looks a lot more fun lol. :v

Survivor-esque roles are rather common in mafia games. All they need to do is survive 'til the end of the game in order to win. However, most of them tend to cross over to the dark side if it seems like they are winning. Well it won't be clear with roles not revealed upon death on who's the winning side tho, but tbh an instakilling role is kinda scary. x_x

I'm just gonna go and [ATTACK] gimmepie for today.
 
I think all the villagers should just post during the night phase, so the people with good roles can just duke it out among themselves and we can try to help with our wimpy +2 attack.

This is also a good idea so no one wastes their vote against a dinky villager.

Then again, revealing your role may help the Terrors and Evils more than you think.

It would be better if you did.
Near the end of games everyone usually role reveals to hunt down the remaining baddies.
but with the whole campfire thing, everyone could just post during the night phase so they could be confirmed innocents and the people who didn't post would be assumed bad.

heck, everyone could do it right away and just duke it out until one side wins.
