Yep, so Zekrom was generally uninteresting to for that ONE trait... XD Although I like Zekrom's stats better than Reshiram's lol...

Zekrom looked like a dark version of Palkia when I first saw it...

Exactly the same thought I had when I saw it, but I liked it and it even has unexpected types.

Kibago family: I liked them, but I still find them a little... "Bagon-y" for some reason.

Monozu family: I don't know why, but I don't like them.

Reshiram: I liked it. Again, it had unexpected types, but a little redondant (Dragon/Fire?).

Kyuremu: The same as tkallab.

Sorry if I sounded a little bit robotic, that's how I right when I'm giving my opinions.

I think at least legendaries should have a logical typing. It began with Jirachi, who was Steel / Psychic, I mean, what part of him is Steel? Then, Dialga / Palkia. I kinda see how Dialga is part Steel, but Palkia? Dragon / Water? If you ask me, they should have been only Dragon.

The same for Reshiram and Zekrom. Why are they fire and electric? Why not Dragon / Flying and Dragon / Dark? Or if there was a Light type (I'm definitely not a Light-type supporter, by the way) Reshiram could have been Dragon /Light.
Yes, Dragon / Fire and Dragon / Electric is cool, but give them to a fire dragon and a thunder dragon, and leave the Legends alone.

That doesn't mean I don't love them.

I can answer that part.

The Dragon/Electric (white)one represents modernism, using electricity for cooking, light, etc. and hence it's the legend that appears in Pokemon Black, which is modern-themed.(Black City)

The Dragon/Fire (black) one represents the old ways of using fire for cooking, light, etc. and hence it's the legend that appears in Pokemon White, which is natured-themed.(White Forest)


Oh, and seriously tkallab, Dragon/Flying? Show some imagination, man. Although Dragon/Dark's cool. I think the sadly inevitable 3rd version's legendary should be a pure dragon-type, resisting both electric and fire, but being super-effectively weak to dragon (giving them all a fair playing field against eachother). Or it could be something that resists dragon....which is, uhh...steel. And make it weak to both fire and electric by giving it the flying typing (special-based uber Skarmory?)

God I know too much about this.....but hey, Epic Shedinja, please could you put your comments in spoilers? I know they're not major, but they do mention Gen V, and as you can see, I already know too much, and I'm sure there are others who feel the same way.

Sadly, the possible third legend is Dragon/Ice. By the way, Amore, the white one is Dragon/Fire and the black one is Dragon/Electric. You also made me think about the designs: A normal and natural dragon versus a robotic and modern looking one. Another nature vs. technology reference?

By the way, if I have an alt, can I post here with it? Sorry for the dumb question.

I have a question for debate.

I wanted to know if you would count Sceptile as a possible Dragon Pokemon?



Here are my theories.

1. Sceptile and it's pre-evolutions can learn these following moves:
Dragon Claw- TM02
Dragon Pulse- TM59
Dragon Breath- Breeding Move
Outrage- Tutor

2. Sceptile and it's pre-evolutions are based off lizards, which have many similarities to actual Dragons.

2. We have yet to have a Grass/Dragon or a Grass/Dragon Pokemon or Grass type that looks similar to a Dragon.
