Guys I would insult your mafia skills but instead I'm just going to say I hope the hater wins. Clearly he deserves it more than you do.
 




DAY EIGHT​

Harry Potter had just finished his spell, after many attempts, when the Fangirl appeared before them, slitting his throat. Harry Potter choked on his own blood after a few moments.

In another room, Homestuck was wide awake. He couldn't sleep anymore, and it was dangerous, considering he was vulnerable. He went to his desk, trying to sleep, when someone went in and pointed a gun stealthily. They pulled the trigger, and as luck would have it, Harry Potter's spell had taken its full effect, and deflected the bullet. Homestuck jolted up and looked behind, but he saw no one.

They heard the news at first light, and everyone, especially Homestuck, who was still feeling the effects of shock and the spell, was grateful for Harry Potter.

"Harry Potter, thank you for saving Homestuck's life. If it wasn't for you, he'd be dead finally..." Magic: The Gathering said, while Steven Universe was holding his statements.

In a certain person's mind, they have made the preparations to escape this damned building, and will have to wait till dark to leave.

This is the last day. It was do or die.

ok, ok. No one vote yet! Mana was not the Hater, presumably, were are back to square one. Last day, one last attempt. Keep in mind the the Hater's fandom is...
"fresh, magic, legendary"
and what I got in the day post was...
"but he saw no one."
super quick? or maybe the hater can turn invisible?

I'm beginning to think that this fresh, magic & legendary hint is not factual. We thought that Mana or Oprh's fandoms fit the bill but they all turned out to be innocent :(
Welp, this is it then. Hater wins, we have no clues left :(
 
Dragon ball Z can do that instant transmission thing and teleport.

I don't think any other fandom can do anything of the ilk... I mean I don't know if DBZ is something that could be described as "Fresh" but Magic would fit with all of their power level crap... and it's such a popular series that one may consider it Legendary. Then again, Legend of Zelda also fits that description perfectly, minus the speed part as far as I can tell.

Fresh = New sets and new cards sll the time, last release date was July 17th, October releases another set.
Legendary = First, largest and most important TCG. Also, many legendary creatures.

Now, let's not pull the trigger too quickly and think this well.

Also, voting for me will be useless because I'm invulnerable to lynchs today, so that should at least make it a little bit easier.

Doof is confirmed because gio7sm can only "fuse" with other innocents...but at the same time the hater doesn't appear as bad to a number of different roles so that could be the same case with gio's ability, and it was just a lucky happenstance that gio chose bidoof to fuse with...

But that sounds kinda far fetched.

Dbz does have magic but they mainly use ki, which is totally different from magic. The enemies in the series sometimes use magic like bippity and boppity.

I just looked up hunterXhunter and I think it may fit the bil.

Very fresh: the reboot to the series was in 2011, the movies came out around 2013 and the dvd release of the second one came out in 2014.

there's no doubt that he has an insane cop power, but I think that skill was put in place so he could better find his informants. Also notice he never had/disclosed any positive hits.

I think he's our best bet so far.

you, gio, and jd are closest.
But you and Gio are confirmed innocents, so that leaves jd.

Also, in the phase changes the hater is constantly referred to as a "he".

"he" may be literal, or it's a default so I'm not sure about that part.
 
Actually, I helped confirm that Bard was an informant. As for the rest of Nimsy's points about Hunter x Hunter:

-Uh nope that's not the plot at all - the main story is about Gon Freecs trying to find his father, who I guess is a legend, but the main characters are not Legendary by any stretch for pretty much the whole storyline.

-That's not how it starts, not sure where you got that. And there's no real magic, it's "Ren", which is similar to the "Ki" in the Dragonball series.

Sorry 'bout that, I'm not familiar with the series and just used Wikipedia xD
that's why I waited for your rebuttal and didn't vote, I also didn't remember that part about bard :P.

It could be that "very fresh" is referring to a unique concept.

The fandoms with the most unique concepts are in:
Attack on titan
Stephen Universe (kinda)-confirmed inno
Code Geass-confirmed inno
Homestuck-confirmed inno

So with that logic...Aot

Legendary: humongous fanbase, legend/well known story about the walls and the titans.
Magical: titans are kind on like "magical beasts" such as cyclops, minotaurs, harpies etc. The transforming could also be reffered to as magical.
Very fresh: the anime is relatively new, and the concept of the whole thing is "very fresh"

p.s. gunner, can you tell us when the phase ends? If it ends tonight then we have to hurry, but if it ends tomorrow we won't be so rushed. I really wanna know so we can get a solid idea as to who the perp is before time runs out.
 
It really doesn't help the clues could point to 90% of the fandoms. ;(
 
Alright, so here we go, my final suspects: Nimsy and Arx. (With slight suss on JaDe.)

After spending, like, an hour looking over the entire thread, here's why I think so:

gio7sm as Steven Universe
Bidoof FTW as Magic: The Gathering : Gio's power was mentioned in the first post and the two have been inseparable in the narrative, and this post specifically shows gio compiling notes for Doof out of several other posts - why would the hater go to such trouble? Then again, it might benefit one of them to decieve the other, but their powers have been time tested and even JD confirmed that Doof was not suss.
apocalypseArisen as Homestuck : more assassination attempts than you can shake a stick at.
Ninja Aiden as Code Geass : Rezzed, therefore not the hater.
Kiyoshi the Polar Bear as Fallout : I'm not the hater, and the clues don't point towards me whatsoever. To boot, I was mentioned in the roleblock D6. (I believe that was D6)
jdthebud as Hunter x Hunter : Clues can only be linked through creative stretches of thought, and his behavior towards his suspects seem pretty legit.

JaDe.X105 as Attack on Titan : Has never used his vigilante power, and has been mentioned in a post about how Tales caught sight of him "doing nothing." My least suss suspect.

Arx as Dragon Ball Z : Has literally never posted anything remotely useful, and does not have a power, but rather, a restriction. Has proven throughout his seldom posts that this is a legitimate rule for him, but how does that make any sense to Dragon Ball Z? Also has been mentioned in several posts about how he "grumbles." Seems odd for an inactive player to do. Also, I'm pretty sure he's missed some votes and not been chastised for it. Clues also lead to him a bit, too. My most suss.

Nimsy as Legend of Zelda : Claims to have had a one-time kill power (weird, having a duplicate of JaDe's) but she was noted to be in the D6 list of nullified players and has had a story that follows through with that. Though, only one person died that night on inactivity. She hopped on early to the Netto bandwagon, though. The clues also fancy her. She hasn't been super active, albeit having nearly double the amount of posts that Arx has, but strange she's popping in her head so close to the end ... where one deicision might seal her win if she is the Hater.

I've been super active during this time for multiple reasons:
1.) it's the last day with very few people to post, and I only really talk when I have thoughts that I deem important, and I believe my current thoughts are relevant/useful.
2.) the time limit is stressing me out greatly
3.) I literally have nothing better to do

and to put it in apocalypse's words; 90% of the players fit those clues.

I agree with the fact that Arx's role could have been easily made up, and the clues fit him as well.

Magical: although its not primary, magic is used
Very Fresh: the reboot came out very recently
