Update 6.0. A pretty significant update tidying up the prologue and early game, adding some new stuff, and fixing a Red's Journey West significant bug, among others.
Changelog:
- Split the Island Prologue part into two parts, to mix dialogue with a little bit of gameplay, for player comfort. Now Sam will get to meet Kurt, and do a mini fetch-quest before he goes back home to study Biology.
- Prologue dialogue improved, and fewer textboxes will be shown
- Reduced amount of dialogue during the Vermillion introductory scenes, getting the player to action faster
- Removed unnecessary exposition from the aforementioned introducory scenes
- Introduced new events to "show" rather than "tell" the player about the topics handled by said exposition
- Vastly improved Koga recruitment speech in Vermillion, reducing the amount of textboxes shown
- Optimized some events to aid performance
- Now all Fuji notes will be re-readable, and their contents saved on your PC.
- Note mentioning Route 4 is now more specific
- Slightly lowered Chuck's levels
- Made Green mention all the necessary tiggers to progress in Goldenrod
- Gave Koga more pimples
- Ecruteak southern entrance getting stuck bug has been fixed
- Fixed a lot of typos and grammar
- Fixed a couple of errors in Dark Cave West
- Fixed a few tile errors in R49
- Fixed autosave not working during the two Lighthouse events
- Fixed Blackthorn tile errors
- Fixed Route 15 typo
- Fixed a small panorama graphical error
- Fixed panorama in Cinnabar Mansion not activating if climbing down from 3F
- Fixed Green portrait in R28 not facing the correct side
