France, the home of passionate romance, high fashion, and accordion music, goes woefully underappreciated here on Pokecommunity. Until now. In this topic, you can discuss everything you love about France, and the wonderful people who live there.

So what's your favorite thing about France? The music? The cuisine? The accents? Personally, I love the scenery. I think France is the prettiest country in the world. When I get older I want to take a year off studying and go on a trip around all the pretty places in France.

    How about you?

Real quick- you don't have to take a year off studying to go to France. You can study abroad and still go to the places you want to go. But eh, your choice.

Anyways, I really don't know too much about France saved for its history and a few corporations over there. XD From the pictures I have seen, they do have some charming fashion sense. While I'm at it, the country has quite an interesting history too, from The French Revolution to WWI and WWII. Then again, I'm a history nerd. XD

    ^Points at name^

de la Plume is French fyi. How can that be under-appreciative?

For me, my favourite part about France is the cuisine and the people's accent. I don't know much about France, nor have I been there, but I know as much about France as the average Joe.

Ah France, the country us English love to hate. I do like a lot of their food (speaking of which I had **** au Vin for tea just now).

EDIT: *Sigh* why does (french for chicken) have to be censored?

My user name derives from an old French word as do thousands of other English words. France gave the world some of my favorite authors, Alexandre Dumas and Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. There's also that nice statue in New York City. Vivre la France~

    YES

Granted, I haven't been to very many countries. But still. I visited France a couple of years ago. Spent three weeks there. A week in Paris. A week along the French Riviera. And a week in-between the two travelling from France to the Côte d'Azur and stopping at many villages along the way. (with a two-day stop at Disneyland in there somewhere XD)

Paris was fun for it's touristyness. The architecture was wonderful. A superb transportation system. Lots of museums. Much fun. But the people are awful. As stereotypically rude as you would hope they wouldn't be. Luckily, that was just Paris. With the rest of France, people are better.

We drove along mountains. Stood in fields of lavender. Were among the vineyards. Eventually getting to the Riviera, which was fantastic. Gorgeous. And wonderful food. The scenery was unbelievable.

I adore France. There is just something so romantic and appealing about it.

My favorite thing about it is actually the language. I love the way it sounds. I'd do anything to learn how to speak French. I also love French architecture. Chateaux are amazing.

J'adore le français! Et le culture! et le cuisine! Mon prefesseur voyage à France de temps en temps! Elle adore France aussi!
I love French! And teh culture! and the food! My teacher travels to France from time to time. She loves it also!
    Whoo! first half french post!

The French are smelly people who stink of wine and smokes.

The French people are somewhat neat with their food, culture, history etc but I hope one day scientist find a way to bring dead people back to life so I can shake hands with Charles de Gaulle.... Then I can finally become a 30 Century man
