Origins was okay, been a while since I last played it though. Had a arcane warrior/blood mage hybrid near the end of that one. Dragon Age 2 just felt like someone's attempt to make a Fresh Prince of Bel Air spinoff.

True, like having OC in the Harry Potter universe; it's much harder to gain respect as a piece than an OC main character in Pokemon. At least in my observation.​

If you're going to write fanfiction or roleplay as a canon character you need to write than ICly. Sadly moreso in the world of fanfiction people don't seem to get that. :c

At least where I roleplay people do a pretty good job with staying IC. With exceptions, of course.

I don't write fanfiction because I don't have the motivation to finish a story, I guess. I'm definitely more of a roleplay and where I roleplay it basically consists of 90% canon characters haha. The cool thing about it is that these roleplays are panfandom so you get interactions from all sorts of canons and you get to see how your character reacts in new situations. Things that you'll never get from the show they're in.
