And even so, Bug is the least used type -_- I'm not interested in any of the above. Keep Stealth Rock as it is, whatever. Fly, if they make it like Tracks of Light, good for us. 3-D graphics, ew.

I'm interested in new Pokemon and new Pokemon design. I can only hope for a:

-Dolphin Pokemon(Kyogre is based off an Orca, which is a type of dolphin)
-Reindeer Pokemon(Stantler)
-Echidna Pokemon(Cyndaquil evo-line)
-Will-O-Wisp Pokemon(well that's already an attack and since spiritomb is made of souls it's technically 108 wisps put together)
-Angel Pokemon(ok but many creatures are already based off happiness/angelness n such like dragonair/togekiss)
-Swan Pokemon(Cresselia)
-Koala Pokemon

These, I'm interested in.

Bug is the leasted used because every top competitive team has SR and it shaves off half their hp...
What's wrong with Cel Shaded 3d graphics? Just look at stadium and murge it with wind waker. inb4waytoogood

also look at the quote^^^^

Ninja - I would want an actual Fighting type ninja... mainly, I want it to be attached to the Poison type. Toxicroak did not do it for me, though I love the type combination, it is a poor pokemon. We need a Poison type with good speed and Physical abilities all in one.

Komodo Dragon - This could be the first Poison/Fire or Poison/Dragon Pokemon, or it could be Poison/Fire for the first two stages and in its final evolved form drop Fire for Dragon... which sounds amazing to me. (purple and red dragon ftw)

Tarantula - Bug/Poison and a load stronger than Ariados. It would be a lot bulkier and have higher defense than the average bug.

Pistol Shrimp - Water/Fire... would be a wonderful type combination. LOOK UP "PISTOL SHRIMP

It also defies most bugs any fighting chance. They finally get bug buzz/u-turn and they invent stealth rock. (facepalm)

Exactly!! Bug isn't a terribe typing. It hits Dark Super effectively which is helpful and it resists Ground and Fighting! It isn't perfect but Stealth Rock just kicked them when they're down. The metagame is slowly losing all diversity (if it hasn't already) and Stealth Rock is a major reason. The only downside is Salamence and to a lesser but still noticable extent Gyrados just got harder to counter, but hey it might induce some creativity!!

Also Smogon's CAP 10 has made me realise I really want an Electric/Poison type with levitate. Weakness to Psychic. Resists Flying, Electric, Steel, Grass, Poison, Fighting and Bug. With immunities to Toxic and Ground. *Drool*

Oh my god, Electric/Poison sounds amazing but I can't find a single way to put that to a creature... any ideas?

It could easily pull off some form of Toxic Watse, glowing green, possibly something like a snail with a battery pack for a shell, or if it needs levitate, it could be sort of a floating totem pole of nuclear waste barrels.

It might be good if they kept the moving style grid-based, but let you press L and R to turn the camera 90 degrees. I'm not a fan of cel shading either. That was the bad part of Wind Waker imo.

Stealth Rock could do with some weakening. But what I hope for is for it to be a more common TM. Like obtainable at the Game Corner, as opposed to being a once per playthrough Gym Leader TM.

Oh and Electric/Poison makes me think of something that's radioactive.

Edit: Late post. :P

evo of weezing, use electrotizer(SC?) on it and it gets electric battery shocker tentacles?

I swear to God that I thought of that after Radioactive, I thought of a pokemon who already used a symbol. Weezing/Koffing came to mind. If there were a split evo for Koffing, it could adapt the raidioactive symbol and Electric typing rather than the cross-bone symbol.

In case you hadn't noticed, Double Battles were never in the Original Stadium (or Stadium 2), so trying to render 4 very complex Pokémon such as Gyarados or super smooth Pokémon Llike Porygon-Z could cause problems, even with cutting things back.

Right now however, one of things I really want for gen 5 is a priority move for Porygon-Z, preferably a Special counterpart to Extreme Speed. It would boost Z's potential tenfold, and give it a possible edge over Darkrai. Perhaps if Porygon-Z didn't lose it's stability upon evolution, Conversion would not only be viable, but allow it to overcome it's sub-par STAB and strike with Adaptability boosted attacks from ALL types.

Porygon2 could use more moves in general, perhaps regain Curse allowing it to become the only pokémon in OU that isn't fully evolved (other then Wynaut) as it was back in early DP. Focus Blast is also interesting, but not need too badly.

Apparently there will be new information about the 5th gen or new games announced in next months issue of Coro Coro according to Serebii and PokeBeach. Im excited. This will be the fastest month ever fro me, with Gorillaz music, Lady Fierce Telephone video, and HGSS to hold me over. Who is excited?

Stantler and Gastly forget you exist too.

PorygonZ is already very OU. Why Improve him?

*Cough* cel shaded makes things appear better *Cough*

Even so, stadium's graphics were beyond their time. The DS's are not only stronger, but the cartridge space is more than doubled. The n64 could do 512megabit. Stadium 2 used 256megabit. According to rumors, gen 5 will use 1024 megabit. I see no problem for a toned down stadium with 600pkmn. Not to mention the screen is smaller it, looks better.

Stantler and Gastly forget you exist too.

I already corrected him. Gastly is a ghost.

I thought that Remoraid was at least partly based on that?

oh, and @ Nintengod, PZ gets smashed and annihilated in OU, whilst it is second to none in causing despair in UU, making it a very solid BL poke. P2 is at least able to counter stuff like DD Gyara and Mence. PZ just dies.

Remoraid is purely based on on remora fish....not a shrimp

Its fame for shooting attacks is like an archerfish, however in all other regards it seems to be based on a remora, and has some elements that make it look like a revolverhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/revolver.

You are mostly right, I suppose. My fault for not checking up facts before trying to correct. ~____~

This shouldn't be for saying if people are right or wrong, anything can happen in generation five :D (Please note that there might be a chance that everything will not happen in Generation five D:).

So yeah, I like the idea someone said about being able to spin the screen with L and R... I actually thought that was how it worked when I saw DP at first :P

Could it be that you have to spin the screen certain times, to beat the game at some points? Could we say buh-bye to doors always facing the south? Would this ruin the feeling of the games (as I think cell-shading would)? Speculation taim! :D

On terms of all we're guessing for Gen V, I'm tired of RSE remakes popping up already.

For God's sake people, HGSS isn't even out in NA yet, give it some time.

I agree. R/S/E remakes are great, but they'll be better once Nintendo releases them. So why make something that somebody can, and will, beat? Obviously HG/SS already pwned the hundreds of G/S/C remakes which people tried to make over the past few years, although they were fun while they lasted. And some of them are fine, but they'll just end up being called copies since they were released and completed before HG/SS.

I'm still psyched about what Nintendo could add to their R/S/E remake (which will hopefully come); if HG/SS added all of those incredible graphics to Johto and Kanto, what could they do to Hoenn? It'd be so cool to relive the whole thing in bigger, better graphics. And with the addition of the 5th Generation, it'll be a lot better, too :)

By the way, did I miss anything concerning Generation 5?

It was just ranger 3 info. They promised some gen 5 info next month.
