Chika-chan: Hehe, the image is a little disturbing... xD;;;

Anyways, I love the gradient you used in the background. And I can see you did a lighting brush in the background (?). The brushing is good, you could use some more though, and you can play with the image a little more.

Good job! I'll have some stuff for you guys to rate later~

@Chikara: It's very nice althoug it kinda looks like you just plopped the render on there if you know what I mean.

Havn't posted here in like 2 monthes...Phear my newest creation...

That top one is good, but I think it would look better if it was in one box like the rest.
It just looks a bit scrappy if you know what I mean.
But the second one is great!
It isn't overloaded with images and effects which is good!
Love the background! Really cool! 9.0

Now for mine:

This was the first EVER banner I created! And I think I kinda rushed it cause I finished it in like 10 minutes... =P
But that's because I sorta had the idea in my head, I only had to put it on the computer!
Well, hope you enjoy!

Massimo: I'm assuming this is your first time using Photoshop, aye? Well, all I can say is that you are on the right track! Try to use textures and more brushes instead of the Photoshop default ones. Play around with the image a little more, and the text really doesn't match. ><

Good job, and keep it up!

LOLZ IT HAZUKI. 8D

Yep my first time using Photoshop and first time making a banner.. =O
How do I make custom brushes and textures?

Sorry I'm kinda new to this but I'll keep trying!

I really like your one! It is nicely set out and has nice effects like the glitter in the left!
Keep it up!

Ah, I'm just going to rate my favourite ones for now o.o

Shika;; You really are improving ^^ I love the background on this, with the feeling of it exploding behind the render and everything. Although the render takes up only a little bit of space, the effects on the background, with the smudging using a circle brush, and the clipping mask splatters prevent it from looking too empty. The render, however, isn't blended into the background very nicely, and it looks almost pasted on x__o It also looks a bit too over saturated. The text is actually okay on this one. Well, I like it...

Chikara;; I really need to continue watching Gurren Lagann... anyway, this is actually really nice. Although I'm going to be a prick, and say that I can see where the red and black background ended just above her head x____o But still, this is a really nice banner. I like the little brushes you used and the colours match with the render. It looks simple, but at the same time, really appealing and nice to look at.

Hazuki;; Eheh, floating orbs xP Yeah, they look nice on this one. Everything in general looks nice, but I don't like how the clipping mask of her head to the left looks really awkward, since the colours are really different to the rest of the banner. Everything looks a tad too bright, as well. But still, the colours are interesting and the effects are simple, but appealing.

yeah used light textures alot of light textures

evilcheese: I think you overused the light texturs, they sought of attract your eyes rather than the render, having one focal point and some extras at the edges of the banner would make it much better. I really cant see anything else in the background x].

Massimo: You should try some easy tutorials, cause they help alot. It's basically a pokemon on a background, you should try adding brushes and effects plus maybe a water background to make it better.

I've tried using Shiranui's tutorial, I like how it turned about, but I didn't know what to add to the side of the main render, so I splatted on some brushes and made them a bit transperant.

[PokeCommunity.com] The Graphics Rating Thread [READ THE FIRST POST. D:<]

p.s, i'm still learning about all these feature things xD

Skipped Viper for not rating~

@CheesePeow: It's way too plain. You said you splatted on some brushes and made them a bit transparent but the only visible place of the brush is the text bar. The colors are all washed out too. The text bar decoration is nicely done though. It's the best part of the banner.

XD As I thought, you got all of it. But about the render part, because I used the stock, (or effect render) making me unable to blend. It's official art too. xD

Oh, the stock I used:

Ok, add the text for the second banner. It seems like I rushed on the text but I didn't ;--;

Version 1 ~Rockman Leo

Version 2 ~At World's End (A bit more "Game Over" feel than the first one)

Which one should I use?

Shika-- I can't see Version 2 ><;;;; Anyways, the
version 1 is.. wow. You are improving! It looks perfect.
I say version 1, tho. The render in 2 is too light and the
text is too big.

A little banner/logo thing for my freind's thing.

Shika: Version one definitely. Version two looks odd and like you set it on something like linear burn or some other layer style. Version one, however, is great. I don't love the text, but frankly, there's basically no other way to add text in that style banner.

Kai: To be honest with you, it's not my favorite of yours. Of course, it's good with tying everything together. The colors in the background match with Pikachu, and the text looks like it's the Second darkest color of its tail. It looks like a comic's kind of style, but just not my style. So for me it would need more "fsshhh graphicss" xP

In other words its just too plain. D:

@Shika - the whole concept is cool and very well done. But version 1 ftw. because version 2 is a little too light and anyone's eyes will hurt when they try to look at the focal point. oh and if you could try to make the render a little more straight because it looks a little too pixely.

@Kai. - well it's ok i guess but a little too plain. well ill give advice that CME gave me. put some blue in there since yellow and blue go hand in hand.

@CheesePeow - This one looks good. but i think you shoould've blended the render a bit more and did the displace filter.

I made another banner, though it looks a bit plain :S.

cheesepeow;; Hmm..it is a bit plain, but nice, i really like this banner, theres like nothing i can say bad about what you have done, except two things, the border isnt too good IMO, and the text as well, try doing it all lower case or all caps.

i wanna get this rated:

[PokeCommunity.com] The Graphics Rating Thread [READ THE FIRST POST. D:<]

for some reason i hate it can someone give me advice.

It looks good, the effects blend well together, but the colour doesn't really suit Absol, I reckon it should of been a Dark blue.

I made a new banner with a tut I found, I like it, I think it's a major improvement.

[PokeCommunity.com] The Graphics Rating Thread [READ THE FIRST POST. D:<]

cheesepeow;; MAJOR IMPROVEMENT INDEED! i love this banner >.<, everything about it fits in perfect, only thing i don't like is hitsugaya, he needs to be more solid raise the opacity

Was bored...

@Uryū Ishida: It has nice bold colors, which I like. Im not sure about the C4D going down their face, but meh, it's not that big of a deal. It's a bit fat for my tastes though.

Here's my latest monstrosity. I know how much you guys hate sprite banners, lol. I made it for PalkiaAndBlisseyrock's birthday on Pe2k.
