how about I put you as the photoshop, begginer design teacher.

Program: Adobe Photoshop CS2
Specialization: Uhhhh, lots of things. I'm pretty good at smudging though. xD
Preference: Design Class 3

I didnt know mizt used gimp...hes teaching design..did you do it wrong?
EDIT:i actually think when i get better i can teach the design with program class, because for me it would be alot easier to combine those two together and teach them as one Eg. its easier to teach someone about lighting if you teach them how to use different tools at the same time, so it shows how you can use tools, for effects IMO yes that would be easier :P

@ Viper: This really isnt the place to ask a question like that. Anyways once the school starts it will be just as good as a tut.
