    Pokémon G/S/C Gym Leader Challenge​

    Welcome to the Gym Leader Challenge, In order to complete this challenge, you need to choose from one of the gym leaders (listed below) and complete either Pokemon Gold Silver OR Crystal using only the Pokemon of your chosen gym leader, your challenge ends once you defeat Red, good luck!

    Obey the rules:

    Rules

    • You may only use Pokemon used by your chosen gym leader.
    • This is not a race so take your time!
    • The first Pokemon of your type must be caught before defeating Whitney.
    • No glitches are allowed.
    • No legendary Pokemon!
    • No trading unless it is to evolve a Pokemon or to get otherwise unobtainable Pokemon (i.e. the Kanto starters, fossil Pokemon, and version exclusives).
    • HM slaves are allowed (2 maximum), but you CANNOT use them in battles!
    • No cheating or hacking (Gameshark, action replay ect.)
    • You may choose a gym leader even if someone else has started a challenge with him\her. i.e if someone chooses Chuck, that DOES NOT mean you can't choose him.
    • Emulators ARE allowed and the speed up (Space bar) function IS allowed for training.
    • Please update your progress regularly, atleast every 1 or 2 Gyms, thanks!
    • Your challenge ends after defeating Red.
    • Please specify which version (Gold, Silver, or Crystal) you are using for your challenge.
    • Most importantly, Have fun!

    I'm actually blown away by the detail you put in here, Suicune™. By the way, Sydian, I think he's going with Bugsy, if that little ™ next to his name is any indication lol.

    By the way, is there any particular reason why this is restricted to G/S/C? and where the heck are some of these pokemon coming from? Brock has a Pinsir (weak to Rock o.O)?
     
    I will be doing this challenge. I will go through as Janine, with Meganium, Crobat, and Vaporeon. It will be on Crystal. c:

    Yeah, well there is only a certain amount of types that I can put in, and I wanted all the leaders to have an even amount so I evened it out by inserting a few irelevant Pokémon under some leaders otherwise it would be just too similar to a Monotype challenge, and I just thought having ALL Gym Leaders would be too much but if someone wants to make a list for all the gym leaders then they are more than welcome to.

    Well, I started. And realized since I might be finishing in the next hour or so, I might want to catch some non water Pokemon so it doesn't look like I copy pasted a water monotype picture. So I'm going to get a Dratini and Diglett or something like that.

    i started a new game and name myself Brock, and name my rival Kiiroi (What i usually name myself)
    Chose totodile, for a future surf slave.
    Caught a geodude and named him balboa. Deposited totodile and trained Balboa.
    Caught a bellsprout and traded it for Rocky the geodude and trained him up.
    Defeated Falkner, never found mudslap more annoying in my life.

    The real time clock in Virtualboy Advance works with Gen 2 roms right also shouldn't Jasmine have Mareep->Ampharos on her list of eligible pokemon because of Amphy?

    Ok so I started My game
    Called Myself Brock
    Set the time and everything
    Chose Chickorita
    Went to mr pokemons place
    got the egg
    On my way back to new bark bumped into ???
    Beat him
    went back to New bark
    Called rival Ash
    Got Pokeballs
    Cought Geodude
    Called him Ramoan
    Made it throuth route 30 and 31 and caught a bellsprout
    Traded Bellsprought for Onix called rocky
    did sprout tower
    and defeated the gym
    then got the egg from elms assistant

    Got started on my Sabrina challenge, here's an update:
    -Started the game and named myself Sabrina
    -Got Cyndaquil as a starter (he's one of Sabrina's eligible Pokemon so he'll be on my team)
    -Played all the way up to Falkner and defeated him with Quilava

    Here are my team's levels and moves:

    Quilava lv. 15
    -Tackle
    -Leer
    -Smokescreen
    -Ember

    Quick update:
    Caught both a Gastly and Sentret and did a bit of grinding. Sentret evolved into Furret. Made my way down to Azalea town and saved inside Slowpoke Well.
