*~The Harry Potter Fanclub~*

Exactly what i was thinking.

Yeah, I mean my dad said he's sticking it in a vault when i'm finished. I mean, WHO'S GOANNA STEAL A FRIGGIN' BOOK!?!

EDIT: Plus, I'd like to meet one of the actors as well.

If I were you, I'd just buy a whole new book and read that... keep the signed book mint and un-read.

I have a signed first edition book by Kurt Vonnegut (Bluebeard)... I've yet to check how much it would go for, especially now that Vonnegut is dead. But I don't really care, because I doubt I'd ever sell it. :)

R.I.P. Kurt Vonnegut!

Oh... and Harry Potter's not bad either. XD

I'll join. I finished book 7 a while ago, i still feel a bit empty, what with the lack of another book to look foreward to.

Can I join please I've read every book 3 times and the Last book twice???

You guys really think someone typed the whole book? Why would someone subject themselves to that when there are computers? Not to mention I would imagine that J.K. has probably updated herself to a computer at least, right? I don't think she sits and hand-writes everything anymore (although, I could be wrong, maybe she's old-fashioned)
I'm serious, someone did do that. It's not a scanned copy, it's an actual typed one in .pdf format. And the spelling mistakes seriously tells you that some amateur was doing it.

Yeah, I got my book signed by her. I asked what were her plans and that's what she told me. I'm not sure if she was telling the truth though.

YOU ARE SO LUCKYYY!!!! xD

I'm back. Hope everyone is having a good end of Summer.... and an okay return to school, as dreadful as that is.

Wow, four new members while I was gone! Welcome, everyone. I would like to to tell you that membership is based how many books you've read, just simply the fact that you like Harry Potter. :D

Answering that question from before....

Spoiler:

Okay, i have a question: out of all the HP games, which one is your favorite? Please post the order from greatest to least.

1. Order of the Pheonix(Wii) I've played it on the other system, they don't compare to the wii's brand of fun wand twirling action!
2. Prisoner of Azkaban, the added feature of letting you go pretty much any where was great! I got a ton of fun out of it after i beat just riding the hippogryph's!
3. Sorcerer's (Philosopher's) Stone (Mac) The way the game was set up was amazing, especially for cpu. I never played the sysemized game, didn't feel it would live up to it.
4. Chamber of Secrets. Though it's not one of the highest, it brought a great mix of the Gamecube's features and then amazing ness of the Mac game all into one!
5. Goblet of Fire. Too easy. It was kind of bringing the switch characters game style back, and i didn't like it. I was disappointed to find out that you could only go where the game would allow, you couldn't explore! It let me down...

Unfortunately, I've never actually played through a Harry Potter game before... I've done the emulator version for the GBA but that wasn't so great...

Goblet of Fire was alright.

Yeah, me too. I've never even picked up a HP game. I figure it would just dissapoint me like the movies, so why bother.

For the question:-

I've played a bit of a computer version. It was alright... I expected more from a HP game but yeah... sorta disappointing in the graphics and gameplay.

I'd have to say Order of the Phoenix for the Wii is my favorite, the place is so huge you can go practically anywhere. The graphics are amazing, and the game actually matches the movie! XD

Sorceror's Stone for the PC was pretty cool, I still pick it up and mess around when I'm bored on the computer. I don't think I've played any others besides the first one for the GBA, so I can't really give my opinion.

Welcome, Vavavoom. ^^

Ooh... for the Wii? That'd be pretty good then with the motion sensor and the fancy stuff. xD

Okay, i shall start the dicussion

Spoiler:

Don't you talk about Bella like that!!! >.<;; She rocks! Okay, I'm not really mad at you. XDD Yes, and I hate Mrs. Weasley now. *cries* Poor Bella! Oh well. I think J.K.R. was being merciful, because I'd hate to imagine how poor Bella would react if she had actually seen Voldemort die...

She probably would have killed herself straight after that.

Yes, probably. Hey, did you know that J.K. said that Bellatrix only married Rodolophus because it was expected of her? That she really loves Voldemort? I mean, there's enough proof in the last book. When Voldemort was blasted backward by the blow of hitting Harry with that curse, who stayed by his side when the others backed away? Bella. She even offered to help him back up. ("I do not require assistance." XD)
