The Hunger Games [GAME OVER]

It could have been under a lot of things

Had I gone back and read GreenFlame's death post, it probably would have been obvious. I assumed I had less time than I actually did, though, having been afraid that someone else would figure it out in the time it took me to go back and review everything.

Evidently I was wrong about that, but oh well, it happens.
 
I was expecting pretty much any place except for the mansion because I thought it wouldn't be that obvious. <.<

Don't try and shift all the focus onto Juno just yet.
Yes, she looks really suspicious so she's pretty high on my list right now. However let's not forget that you have claimed to have some sort of knowledge and adamantly refuse to give us details.

I can't in good conscience vote for anybody else until I have heard said details.
 
I don't really think the GameMaster should be posting outside of events/night/day stuff. Not that it affects me particularly (other than people doubting that the river is safe), but it ruins any intrigue or mystery people might have if the GM is constantly answering questions. Just saying.

Uhm, I already did give it. I hid in the forest, and I assume Orpheus did as well, and that's why I was mentioned. The only thing I don't know is why Juno was mentioned. it could simply be either she came from the same district as Orpheus has, just a random person mentioned, or she is a Career, and they picked the Forest, and let the RNG gods do their thing. I dont think Juno is a Career just yet, but as I said, it'll be worth checking us two out if that's the case. That's the only information I have known.

It's the way you phrased your first post on the matter that has me a bit suspicious though. Because you looked like you were trying to make yourself appear to have a role.
 
Originally, I'd intended to hide by the River, but looking over the roles descriptions again, it didn't really sound like hiding with Klippy meant that everyone in his zone would be safe:

Unless his PM says differently, he just sounds like the standard healer role, who can protect one person a night. So I changed my mind and went with the Forest, and I guess that's why my name was mentioned too, since we were all in the same zone.
 
All I'll say is that I was given somewhat different information and it led me to conclude I am 100% safe during the nights when I protect my own zone.

Beyond that, arachnidsGrip looks most suspicious to me. :/ She basically just accused Juno of being a Career and is ignoring the fact that SHE could be the Career as well.
 
Uhm, I'm not accusing Juno of being a Career, I said, there is a possibility that she is. Also, I never said that I was a reaped or a Career, since I know that you guys will find me suspicious. I never ignored that fact, and I decided to not say anything about myself. If one of us is a Career, its a 50/50 chance.

this is pretty much exactly why Klippy is suspicious to me too, yes. plus the fact that he so readily accused ComicFanatic, who to me was obviously not a Career. even in that Night Post, Klippy took the lead and ruthlessly decapitated a Reaped before the group was even done debating what to do with him, it seemed. so yeah, pretty suspicious to me.

apart from that, arachnidsGrip rose on my list because of what gimmepie said. you phrased your post so vaguely at first, you made it seem like you had valuable information that we probably wouldn't even believe. but then you come out and say 'I hid in the Forest', and that's it?
so we have both mentioned people claiming they hid in the Forest tonight. to me that seemed a little more likely for arachnidsGrip than for Juno, simply because arachnidsGrip knew he was headed to the Forest while Juno simply went hysterical upon discovering Orpheus' body - which initially led me to think that they were just District Buddies. but now after all that vagueness by arachnidsGrip i'm inclined to say she's the most suspicious of the two as well.

dammit i thought the report would be in the Mansion but i figured that would be too simple. but whoever has that information - or NinjaAiden, who has yesterday's information btw - could really post now if they have someone else to accuse first.

I can't control what the GameMaster wrote and it has no bearing on my actual play of the game. :/ (Which I guess could be applied to Gunner and Juno) Besides that, ComicFanatic, I believe, accused me first and I simply retaliated with a vote back. Then he admitted he was a career and everyone voted for him.

that's nice and all, but i thought Day/Night posts were supposed to contain hints? this might as well be a hint put in by our lovely GM if you ask me.
plus, i think everything was a bit too much of a coincidence. ComicFanatic was the very first person to state that you might be lying about your Medic position. coincidence? next, he says he's actually the Medic, which i initially thought was just to make a point, but then it turned out that he was from the exact district that the Medic was from... and if he was in fact the Medic, it would also make sense for him to have gotten pissed after you kept up the act, and he ended up throwing the monkey insult at you. of course then it became his word against yours, and that being an angered rookie vs an experienced and collected Klippy, you won out easily. finally this 'drove him to madness' and he called himself a career to end his suffering.

still, i'm also a rookie, so maybe this is just tunnel vision on my part. i'll refrain from voting for now, but know i've got my eye on you c:

I'm definitely the Medic, as I've repeatedly said from the start. I've been at the river and have been protecting the area. But Comic actually accused me and said he couldn't trust a monkey, voted for me, then I responded with a vote. I didn't really gun for him or push for his death - I can't help that others followed my vote when Comic started saying he was the Medic, then wasn't, then that he was a Career. I didn't really do much besides that though. I posted my vote and others followed suit, when my vote was only retaliatory against him.

I think you're doing fine though, rookie or not. :) But you're off-base on me by far, haha. I think there's a huge difference between a hint and a blatant misdirect as that post about me was. The first use of my name in that GameMaster post shows I'm the Medic, but the other two lines are misdirects.
 
Well, to be clear, all I was saying was that I didn't think Klippy was capable of protecting his entire zone, but I didn't actually find him that suspicious.

And I agree that the Gamemaster's writing doesn't always reveal something about players - like MorallyIncorrect was also mentioned in the NP, but that was most likely just an aspect of storytelling; his "slight sigh of relief" when Comic died was most likely a reference to the fact that he always dies the first day/night, and not that he's suspicious or something. but you never know

And eros did mention we missed a big clue in the day post after Gunner said she and I were likely suspects, which leads me to think one or both of our names being thrown in there was a misdirect, and there's still something we're missing there.

But yeah, nagi, you're doing fine for your first time. :P

I don't want to jump the gun on my spruce buddy Gunner just yet ha
So I'm just gonna wait to see if any new information comes up first.
 
sadly, i was the one who received it.

なぎ, eager to solve any riddle, jumped onto the opportunity to find the bottled message. She dropped to her knees and gathered the bottles in front of her. After barely a minute of work, she assembled them in the below pattern:

Leaving the bottle with the number 5 in the middle. She grabbed the bottle and opened it swiftly, keen to read its contents. But her face paled as she did, for the message clearly incriminated two of her fellow tributes. She faced downward, and held the piece of paper up in the air for the others to grab and read for themselves. The message read:

to whoever is reading this. look back over day one. think. who were the majority of you trusting? are they really trust worthy?

day two started with two name drops. one of them IS a career. think about the way they were acting. think about the intensity of the adjectives. then think about the last line.​

i wrote up all the stuff around it because i wanted to commemorate my first Sponsor Get, haha. the only thing that was in eros' PM was the bit of paper c: but since this information Had To Be Shared, i'd rather you would have gotten it, Klippy - how awesome would it be to get this incrimination from the criminal himself?
regarding this - i think this makes it very clear, along with the GM hints given on Day One itself, to 'think about things' etc, and my reasoning a few posts back, that Klippy was lying about being a Medic, and is in fact a Career. i therefore think it is our first priority to lynch him. i know some of you hold him in high regard, but please don't let that cloud your judgment on this one.

secondly, from the contents of this message, i'd say it is obvious that Juno is in fact our second Career. she was 'hysterical' [→ 'think about the intensity of the adjectives'] upon discovering Orpheus' body, but likely she was later one of the people that ''seemed in a better way than others despite earlier'', as written in the last sentence of the Day Two Post that gimmepie also expressed worry about [→ 'then think about the last line']. ergo the hysteria was just an act - and perhaps she was only the one to discover the body because she was the one to leave it there in the first place.
