I don't do competitions, simple as that. Graphics are just a hobby for me and nothing more. Besides, even I was to work up the effort to even bother entering, I doubt I'd make it very far.

I pretty much just make graphics for my own use (signatures, desktops, etc) and I don't do much more than the basics in GIMP. I did enter the graphics and photography contests for the last Get-Together, however.

And I'll only enter the next photo contest if it's a theme I can work with.

Ah, I love classic poetry.
You know, basic rhymes and whatnot. Stuff like:

"Hurry to school,
You silly old fool,
Go there and learn,
And a life you'll earn."

That bit there only took me a minute to come up with and type.

Free line poetry is kind of, really tough. I can't imagine writing anything other than one having rhyming verses.

It's free-verse poetry.
I agree with mervyn; writing free-verse poetry can be tough sometimes. It all depends.
