So I just tricked out my logon screen on Vista by manually editing imageres.dll. And by "tricked out," I mean I got rid of that horrible teal monstrosity. The logon screen looks surprisingly good with a pure black background; the transparent icons make it look very sleek.

I have changed my Vista log on page to a strange, swirly black and red background. Looks a lot better than the original >.>

How do you change the logon background? I could never find out, lol.

I use a program called "Tuneup Utilities"
It is free for a month.

You can clean up your computer to the max.
It also has a lot of different functions.

It does the job for me :D
