Uh... I think I understand. So apparently, someone hacked into the email and told Alex to go die at the pool.

I think this may have been what happened. The phase post does also imply that someone else was at the virus pool, as surely they'd have to be there to push Alex in. Not sure who else would have visited the pool though (unless you can get infected there too, then it might've been Nani?) Doesn't necessarily mean she's bad though - it's been said that the virus pool can make people act strangely.

More thoughts later, hopefully :3

That's what makes her suspicious. Whoever went to the Virus Pool to push Alex in could very easily also have gotten a virus, like the one Nani has. Interesting how passionately you seem to be defending her though.

I would say that Nani could be faking having a virus to look innocent, but making a virus that makes people post bunny pictures seems like something Bac would do and honestly it's quite adorable.

I love how some of you guys are still FOSing Nani. Here are those thoughts I promised.

Let's speculate.

Say Nani was the hacker. Say she hacked MOM to send an email to Alex telling him to go to the Virus Pool. Then she terminates him. BUT why would the Hacker terminate Alex, having just sent him to the Virus Pool? Surely that's a waste of an ability. Plus, visiting the Virus Pool could potentially be very dangerous for the hacker. We don't know what all the effects of viruses are, so they could potentially have publically revealed or killed the Hacker. I'd say this scenario is pretty unlikely. It's more likely that the Viruses sent Alex to the virus pool (the OP does say they can infect emails too,) and the part about pushing him into the pool is just flavour text for the Hacker terminating Alex. Still, doesn't mean that the Hacker intended to visit the Virus Pool, or that Nani is the hacker (see the part below about Johnny's virus!)

Say she was the hacker or a virus, but she isn't actually involved in the whole virus pool thing and is just pretending to have a virus to seem innocent. But then where are the people who are genuinely infected? There are 4 viruses now, if she was faking it then surely we'd see more people who are infected.

Say she's a virus, who thought they could get something good from the virus pool, but got a virus instead. Somehow I think it's highly unlikely that viruses are affected by viruses, sooo....

I think that nearly eliminates the possibility of Nani being sided with the bad guys. It's more likely that she's just a normal user who was infected by the Viruses. Also, she appears to have the same virus that Johnny was infected with on D1 - remember the Ted picture? If she was faking, then why would she use the effects of this virus? Someone else might have been genuinely infected with this virus, then we'd be able to call her out on it.

but w/e what do I know, last time I defended Nani you still killed her and we were both town so this is probably going to get ignored again


At the moment, I think we can say that viruses are not permanent. Both Ketsu and Johnny appeared to have viruses last phase, and neither of them have shown signs of having a virus this phase, so it looks like they only last for one day phase before wearing off. If Nani's virus and Johnny's virus came from the same source, we could also say that the viruses can be used several times. Nani is telling us that the viruses do not kill as well. However, we cannot say for sure whether viruses can spread or not. Personally, I don't think the viruses are going to cause anyone considerable harm beyond forcing them to post in pictures or making them speak with some sort of code.

My FOS is on the people who are still adamant that Nani isn't innocent, which is a viewpoint that is based entirely on her 90's virus trivia from D1 at this point. I'll drop this here for now for the sake of getting a vote in, seeing as I didn't vote last time. Might change my mind depending on reactions though.
