I remember reading somewhere that WC Event Pokemon cannot be shiny unless they are meant to be shiny.

I can't remember where the site was, let me go look for it.

Question on my Shiny Espeon i just got today...

I got this shiny Espeon over the GTC.. and I think it may be haxor'd...


I'd like to put up some screen shots of the stats and such and see what you guys all think. Although I haven't made 15 posts yet and cant, so just open the links in a secure browser.

Nothing too out of the norm besides its a green espeon and that they used a ??Master Ball?? to catch it.. but just wondering if there were any other taletell signs.

It's impossible to tell if it's hacked without seeing its IV's; have you reduced its EV's to zero so that the stats in the picture reveal its IV's directly, or not?

I'd tend to be suspicious due to the master ball. You didn't provide us with the second info page, which is usually useful in determining hacks--if the eevee was not caught in the trophy garden, then it is absolutely a hack.

You know I think it might be hacked because it was caught by a master ball. But you know some people catch regular pokemon with a master ball so. *shrugs*

i dont think its hacked just cause its caught by a master ball doesnt mean its hacked

The person might have just hacked a master ball or cloned it.

However why would a person trade their shines on the GTS when its full of hacks unless their own pokemon is a hack itself.

^^^This is horrible logic. Why would someone use the GTS? Because it's a provided service.

Master Ball is not an indication of a hack, except in cases such as event Pokemon and most starters. In every gen besides I, there is a way to obtain more than one Master Balls. In D/P, it's the grand prize at the Lottery. There's also cloning.

bjorn, the date in Pokemons' summary is the date of the internal DS clock. If the DS clock can be set to it, it can be part of a legit Pokemon.
