OOC: Sorry guys, I didn't think you'd get so far in one day! XD My mistake, but I wanted to give everyone ample time to get in a few posts. Anywhoo, I'll have to say that in the future, if I'm gone for a day or two (which sometimes happens in life), please don't post so many OOC posts. It will start to make the thread look spammy, and it could get closed, ya know? ^^; Just a reminder.

And yes, I was planning on being the Old Man and my character. ^^;

:.~*Saix*~.: Sorry, but you just don't have very much detail in your sign-up in many areas. If you made the Personality and RP Sample sections fuller, then I could perhaps accept you. Your sample must at least be the 4-line minimum that is in the RP rules. So, you are (as of now): Not Accepted.

Winkle

"Wow, so many interesting people...," Winkle said thoughtfully, as she had encountered many Toads, to her utter delight, and some others as well. The rather hyper Yoshi had caught her eye, Winkle being a Yoshi herself. Also the many Toads, and even the Paratroopa. They were all entering the crooked house, which, despite its odd surroundings, didn't really seem all that scary or intimidating.
Winkle entered the house, as many of the others had, and sat down on a stumpy old stool. The house looked peaceful enough, with rugs and a fireplace, giving it an almost warm feel. Winkle was just content with watching the others talk amongst themselves.
Suddenly a sound like a door opening was heard from above, on the second floor, and Winkle looked up.
"Sounded like a door," she said, blinking. Her eyes watched the stairs with interest and anticipation.
Walking down the stairs was a small, cloaked man. Well, Winkle guessed it was a man, it could have easily been anything under the dark brown cloak. His face was shielded by the shadowy cloak, and his small form hobbled down the steps with the help of a crooked cane. His posture was hunched, like he was stuck between bending over and standing up.
He stopped when he was about five feet from the group of creatures. His head moved around, observing each of them from under the hood.
"Ahh... I see you have come. We shall wait a short time to be sure that any who are lagging have a chance to catch up, though I daresay that I'm not going anywhere for quite some time!" the man said, chuckling dryly. His voice was hoarse and strange.
Winkle took this chance to speak up, "So... surely we're not just going to sit here?"
The old man's cloak turned to her, "No no my dear you're right, how about I eat you for dinner, eh?"
"W-what?!" Winkle blinked, suddenly feeling very afraid.
"A little joke!" the man laughed, "We shall talk of what it is I want you all to do, of course!" He leaned down to a couple of the Toads that were listening, "Though she does look like she would taste delicious. Maybe the pink Yoshi could be dessert?" A sound like lips being licked came out from under his hood.
Winkle frowned. This guy was kinda... off.
