Off the top of my head? Kingdom Hearts OST standout tracks? Hikari/Simple & Clean (both the PLANITb remix and the full versions; AND the Orchestral versions), Dive into the Heart, Kairi II, End of the World, Fragments of Sorrow, Dearly Beloved, Passion/ Sanctuary, Org. XIII, Deep Drive, Darkness of the Unknown, Another Side and Fate of the Unknown.
That's just off hand, what I know by name and love.

I've played both games for PS and PS2 and I can only remember 3 of the songs you listed. :/ And those were the main stream ones promoted by the artist. (Except Dearly Beloved) So, I don't think they were THAT memorable compared to songs like Saria's Song. Everyone knows that. Zelda has music that can be recognized by the public. Its iconic compared to Kingdom Hearts.

I obviously prefer Zelda. I enjoy the game play and characters a lot more. At least, in my opinion, they are unique. Kingdom Hearts borrows characters from Disney and the Final Fantasy series. I'm not complaining about them, no. Kingdom Hearts has some great characters as well. Just to me, Zelda is more creative. All of the characters are made from scratch, you know?

I'm more of a Square Enix fan and less of a Nintendo fan (though that doesn't change the fact that I'm still a fan), so I'm gonna have to say Kingdom Hearts series.
Even though I don't like Sony (PlayStation 2) and Disney (characters in KH) that much. XD

The story is comparable to Final Fantasy (which I am a fan of), so I prefer it over Zelda, though gameplay is sort of at the same level, IMO. The characters are interestingly made from both Disney and Square Enix cast, and they mix strangely well. The OST, as already mentioned, is awesome. And due to that, I became a fan of the series, too.

Still, Zelda is an awesome game and series, though the main reason that I probably said that KH is better is because I have played only three games in the Zelda series.

I'm just surprised your actually comparing Kingdom Hearts with the Legend of Zelda. o.0

I'm not going into detail why, I'm just going to answer this thread's question. ;)

The Legend of Zelda by default.

I don't see why these two are being compared in a poll.
One is Shigeru Miyamato's childhood dreams (not really but his inspiration), and the other mixes Final Fantasy with Disney. A completely strange concept in my honest opinion, but it sold well, so whatever works for Sqaure Enix.
Kingdom Hearts never appealed to me (Final Fantasy did and even DragonQuest a little), but not this tiny franchise.
I've been a huge fan of Zelda since I got my Gamecube so many years ago, and I've been in love with it since.
I had never really heard of it before, but after hearing its themesong for the first time, I knew it was something great.
So Zelda wins my vote by childhood experiences, modernday appeals, and just by default.

I don't see how you can compare them..

I quite enjoyed both but I didn't like the fact that Zelda hardly appeared in the first few games.

Kingdom Hearts is pretty good is well but Sora's feet are just too big.

But all and all I would go with Kingdom Hearts because I just found it more enjoyable than Zelda especially since it has a more happy feeling(kinda hard to explain) in the different areas.

All I know is that all of The Legend of Zelda games (or most of them anyway) got one goal: SAVE THE GOD-DAMN PRINCESS!!! (or other damsels in distress) I'm quite amazed that someone didn't say the 'I'm afraid your princess is in another castle.' line to Link's face yet. But I can't really say anything other than this since I only ever played Twilight Princess and Phantom Hourglass, and only finished Phantom Hourglass. (Note that it's the best god-damn DS game. Best one I've played at least.)

Then again, Kingdom Hearts 1 had lots of princesses, some that weren't considered princesses in their respective Disney Worlds but yet consider a sort of a princess of their respective worlds since their hearts were needed for something in the plot.

I can't really vote since I'm the creator of this thread poll thing. But I still prefer Kingdom Hearts because Kingdom Hearts got Adventures and Romance (not the love-type of romance, the adventure-type of romance) and kinda gives you happy feelings while The Legend of Zelda only got plain old Adventures. It's kinda hard to explain, really, you have to play Kingdom Hearts to understand what I mean.

I started play LoZ: The Minish Cap today and i'm stuck on the start bit when you find the first part of the sword. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Kingdom Hearts for me was nice and simple to use and the soundtrack was nice aswell but overall KH wins!

Legend of Zelda isn't something to compare to Kingdom Hearts... More like comparing to Okami, they're sorta similar...

Erm, Legend of Zelda. It requires more thinking, i'm sure.
I never really liked the idea of american character cartoons meeting up with japanese cartoon character... Especially Kappa Mikey.. -shudder-

I say Zelda, and not just because it's the only one I've properly played. The series has been going for years and it's fantastic.

I played the first few minutes of KH once, and didn't really like it =x that and I'm fail at using a PlayStation controller.
^ This pretty much sums it up for me. Other than that, I'm generally not a fan of Disney or SquareEnix-type characters, so you can imagine that KH isn't something I was meant to like. The fanbase can get irritating, too, but not as much as others, and not as much as it used to.

I've been a Zelda fan since I played my first Zelda game (which was actually Link's Awakening). Funny thing is, my brother's best friend during all those years was the one that introduced us both to Zelda and to KH, albeit at different times, of course.

I really can only say LOZ, considering I've never played Kingdom Hearts (though, if it does have Disney characters in, I'm not sure if I want to xD) Plus, I <3 Majoras Mask so much. :D

I'm going with KH. I've only ever played Wind Waker from the LoZ series. It was really fun, but I'm a big KH fanboy. I love the story, the gameplay, and the weapons. It incorporated the nostalgia of Disney and the sheer badassness of Final Fantasy and it made it work. LoZ is a very fantastic series as well, though. Even though I've only played WW, but the series has been on my to-do list for quite sometime now.

Never actually played Kingdom Hearts. :/ But I love the mix of Final Fantasy and Disney. It's always been interesting to me, but I've never been able to pick up the games and give them a shot. So I obviously have to go with Zelda. XD

I have to go with Kingdom Hearts. Even though I bare a slight interest in Zelda, Kingdom Hearts captivates me almost as much as FF and Persona does.

The characters, the plot ideas, the music, the concept. They all contribute. Not to mention the inclusion of FF characters ;)

The entire storyline(s) implied in Legend of Zelda made me vote for it. AND the fact I never actually played Kingdom Hearts either.

Legend of Zelda became almost cult-like too. Its won its reputation through the great quality its games presented (and the "new features" each had in terms of gaming) and the persistence in the same storyline (most of the times) or alternate and equally interesting storylines (like Majora's Mask).

I'm kinda a fan boy, sue me. ^^

There's no competition here (therefore nothing really to discuss). Kingdom Hearts is one of the few games I put down and never looked at again because it was boring and lacked any reason for me to want to finish it.

That isn't to say that LoZ's given us many of its exceptional games lately. Minish Cap and Phantom Hourglass both are questionably meeting standards when compared to A Link to the Past, Link's Awakening, the Oracles, Ocarina of Time, and (I suppose) Majora's Mask. Wind Waker may very well be the turning point...unless Minish Cap came first. I can't remember.

Zelda. Kingdom Hearts is fine and all, but I absolutely love the Zelda series; just the epic nostalgia factor that still comes with re-playing OoT for a 500th time is enough to put it over the top for me.

I never really found legend of zelda that fun to play. Kindgom Hearts has a much better gameplay but seems to have a much more random storyline than LoZ does. So in terms of gameplay I would choose Kingdom Hearts and for storyline I would go with LoZ.

Are you kidding me? The Kingdom Hearts storyline is so good it's fattening.
