There are actually idiots who are trying to petition Governor Schwarzenegger to pardon Paris Hilton. Why can't they petition him to impose a harsher sentence on her?

Good question. He'll probably end up doing it, too. Paris will call up the Governator and offer him a pound of marijuana to reduce the sentence. XD

And it could be less... apparently the jails are too full and so she may only serve around 21 days from what I heard on the news.
But the excuses that she made in court....

Just stuff her in the Supermax facility at Pelican Bay for the requisite 45 days. This form of the punishment may not exactly fit the crime, but whatever works, I suppose.

Celebrities get away with too much these days...especially the washed up ones...*coughparishiltoncough*...They should get the same sentences that normal people do...

An article says she might get to do her time in the Phoenix's Tent City. This umm... sounds really weird from what it says.

If anything, they should be subjected to even higher standards than normal people. Hence, harsher sentences.
Pelican Bay is one of the most secure prisons in the United States. She'll be in solitary confinement for twenty-three hours, and she'll be very closely supervised for the one hour that she's allowed to leave her cell. Unfortunately, she won't be relegated to such a facility.

It would seem they should, but the chances of that is so slim.
She'll have to serve her sentence in some way, but being put into one of the most secure prisons in the US is kinda.... ummm.... over the top. I mean, you wouldn't get put into those kinds of prisons for this kind of offence if you were a normal citizen.

Meh, I realize she'll be put into one of the almost resort-like prisons. I'm just glad she's all distraught about it at the moment. Her psychiatrist reported that she's a mess over her on-coming punishment. That's enough to make me content. Lord knows that's not her mental state on a normal basis...

Paris is kinda kool imo...mainly because her dog is really cute. She'd be nothing without her dog. She should go into rehab..like Cousins from the Eagles did. Except she can visit the driving rehab, and stay there for a very long time. Rehab would be much better than being in a jail for a long time.

Anyone else still calling the new D/P generation by their Japanese names? I'm having a heck of a time getting the English names to stick in my head. Probably because I prefer most of the Japanese names over the English ones. Seriously...Chatot?! o.O

I didnt pay much attention to the japanese names of the D/P Gen...I wouldnt memorize them so that way i would not get them confused with the english ones...But Seriously...Bidoof? what kind of a Pokemon name is that?!?!?

I am... seeing as I play the Japanese version. It's harder to call them by the English names when you don't exactly know all of them and there isn't really anything to help you remember, i.e. the anime.
Chatot isn't that bad of a name. I prefer Perappu but there are others which are just errgh...
I hate that Pokemon. XD It appears too much in the game~ Bippa is a better name than Bidoof as well.

Carnivine is a pwnsome name.
So is Gible though. I'm also a big fan of Cherubi, Cherrim, and Mothim. Oh, and Torterra.

Pokemon diamond and pearl is not out in the Uk yet :'( So I can't say that I like any names because I don't know any :'(

It isn't out for Australia either. The English and Japan names both sound weird to me, Ruby and Sapphire were the last strand of origionality in games. The D/P ones all sound like repeats of the other names, It's like sticking tissue and dog together making some random creature. I dunno, they all just sound weird.
