I wanted to try making animations...

Okay, so I don't even know if I'll have time to do it this weekend, so depending on Sunday's activities, I may not even implement it. xD; I WILL DO IT THOUGH, IF YOU APPROVE.
 
There's multiple ways of going about it, but here's the two that I know of/utilize:

You can upload multiple images for each of your steps and write out the steps in a post.
Or, you can make one super huge image in photoshop, and then paste your steps and examples onto that image.

Oh yeah, btw, where do you guys get most of your resources other than DA?
 
Resources... Most of mine are from DA. XD; Or I just find anything I can use really. Depends on what you're looking for. Most of the time google helps.

Though, I do take photographs of stuff and use them. Such as the light effects I've used in recent banners I've made, they're from photographs I took when I went with my friend to watch fireworks.
 
I get most of my 3D resources (C4D, Fractals, etc) from dA. Two other main sites are GIMPtalk and GameRenders, in the resources section of course.

As for stock resources I usually just Google whatever I'm looking for. Yet again, the mentioned sites also have those too. Some other good sites are Image*After, stock.xchng, and Game Depiction

Finally we have texture resources. This is the best site for textures IMO, ColorFilter.net.

So what's the deal with this place? There's like 6 or 7 of you that huddle up into a little group and no one's ever bothered to even comment on my stuff, either in my thread or VM. Can you guys please be a little more open? :|

Not really begging for votes, but I'd at least like some kind of acknowledgment from some people here. I mean, my thread has been open for almost 24 hours with not a single comment, and I'm sure that anyone who views my stuff can at least pick out one tag that they like and say why or whatever...

I never post anything on this forum because people are so stingy with comments, I post them elsewhere, I suggest you do the same, cause I doubt things will change soon.

Well, I do, on dA... but dA isn't exactly a good place for tags either.

Then there's Game Renders, but I get maybe about 3 replies to my threads which only gives me a small idea.
 
Is it so mind-blowing that we all have lives and don't have the time to comment on every single thing? Because it's the truth.
 
I hardly ever post point blank...I've been here since 06 and only have 400ish post lulz.

If you really want comments, I would go to the graphic rating thread :P
