I don't think so. People probably think it's easier to work with a big canvas. Working with a small canvas is harder.

Take a gander at galleries with small sigs on other forums too; tell those 'artists' to use a bigger canvas and do the same effects. Take a look at which looks better. Smaller canvases are easier.

Yea yea avatars are smaller, which is why almost all of the ones I'm seeing are stocks turned render if not already one with photofilters and colour adjustments. Yet when I did that with a sig you said...

In any case, I'd probably participate, but I've always found it very difficult to work with small canvases. As anyone who's bothered checking out my gallery would know, my specialty is full-sized tags, and even then I'm not very good at those.

For the record, I believe that Photoshop is not worth the expense or the questionable legality of a free download if all you're doing is making tags and icons for message boards and blogs; I never quite understood why people here are so very willing to either waste money or potentially get into legal trouble just so they can make fancy graphics for this forum. GIMP is more than adequate for those purposes, but the learning curve is rather steep; I suppose that's the price one has to pay for legitimate freeware.

Guess I'm not used to hitting a wall when I want to talk to other people, tho I do the same thing. xD

I see, well I mostly was active on PE2K because of the clans, but I lost my game and lost interest in battling so I moved to the art section, been there for like 6 months now, I like how far apart the graphics on PC and PE2K are far apart.... On PC it's all about stocks and messing with colours and effects.

On PE2K it's mostly about flashy brushes and cool font's...

Like when I introduced a set stock for this weeks BOTW, I thought they'd rip off my head, thank god Ana was there and got were I was going. xD

Still people entered, some even thought I should have had many to choose from and some hated the stock.... Tho I personally liked it...

I'm sure you guys would have loved it if it had been in SOTW on here....

Pretty much, although for the first few weeks I might stick to deciding the 'theme' myself, with the help of some other members maybe if I get stuck, but don't come flooding me with vm's, cause I don't really give a damn about what you think should be the theme, unless I'm asking for your opinions in the first place.
