    I am pretty sure one was posted a while back, but i dont feel like looking for it right now :D

    anyways share some nicknames!

    Actually, the old nickname thread got revived, so this is fine. There wasn't anything to look for. xD Anyway, I name all of my Pokemon. Since I'm playing Pearl right now, here they are. I'll post more when I'm playing other games. :3

    Okay, here's some Platinum names now. I switch my team a lot, so this isn't really a set team.

    I nickname all my Pokemon now, although I never used to bother. My recent restarted Diamond game has:
    Shellos - Pip.
    Budew - Cappie.
    Pachirisu - Hector.
    Monferno - Scorch.
    Kadabra - Magnet.
    Zubat - Zorb.

    Then my fairly recent Silver game has:
    Vulpix - Burn.
    Eevee - Sora.
    Ampharos - Fang.
    Feraligatr - Snappy.
    Girafarig - Nerva.
     
    My team from Platinum:

    Jabon(meaning soap) - Pikachu
    Fluffy - Torterra
    Blanket - Flareon

    I name ALL of my Turtwigs Fluffy. All of them-- well, except for my first one on my Diamond version. I named my first Turtwig 'Turtle'... retarded of me, I know. -FAIL-

    *Mileena- male Ralts (O_O Did not know it would become female-looking as it evolved. Yay, metrosexual Pokemon!)
    *Spooky"PK" ("PK" = Use of that abbreviation for "Poke" from Red/Blue/Yellow)- Gastly/Haunter? Dunno if I got that far with it (Also want to note I called myself Tiger"PK" when I first played Pokemon Blue... apparently my love for Ness from Earthbound was around even back then...)

    *Leafcat- Bulbasaur/Ivysaur/Venusaur (For the umpteenth time... I was young! Also, when I played LeafGreen, I decided to name my Bulbasaur Leafcat again)

    Linoone: Rossetti ~ After Christina Rossetti, a Victorian poetess.
    Grovyle: Satoshi ~ After Ash/Satoshi from the Anime, as he had a Treeko/Grovyle/Sceptile.
    Sableye: Belle ~ I was watching Beauty and the Beast at the time. And I think Sableye is cute.
    Swellow: Sapphire ~ I dunno. It just seemed to fit when I caught baby Taillow. :3
    Kirlia: Dickens ~ After Charles Dickens. I was reading Oliver Twist.
    Swablu: ...Swablu. I forgot to nickname him. >_<

    Some select Platinum:

    Torterra: Edward, after Edward Nygma. (Props if you know who he is.)
    Luxray: Kord, after Ted Kord, AKA Blue Beetle.
    Togekiss: Dorian, after Dorian Gray. (The book, not the awful new film. :|)
    Garchomp: Decameron. It's a book of Italian short stories.
    Honchkrow: Shinji, after...well, you know.
    Regirock: Jindai, after...again...I need a Reiji to have the trifecta. XD
    Lucario: Cookie. My baby Riolu looked like the Cookie Monster from Sesame Street.
     
    I've got a lot of pokemon with different nicknames, but there are a few who stand out in my mind.

    Lol, seeing my own sig reminded me of another. My Slowking, Wise Guy.

    I used to name my starters only after my friends, but I fell out of it. The only one of my normal team that doesn't do this is my Swampert, which I got in a trade.

    Swampert: Mud (I suppose it was derived from Mudkip; traded)
    Charizard: Sammy (Another really old friend from elementary school)
