It probably would be worse if my retainer was removable. It's bonded, on the inside.

I would if I weren't allergic to nuts. D;

Oh god. XD I always figured any one of them would be really annoying to manage, I've only ever had braces for about 6 months and that...was not a fun 6 months.

I guess you just get used to it after a while, I wouldn't be able to do that because...argh, it's hard for me to adjust to anything like that I would need to wear, I couldn't even get used to braces at all. XD;

I had my braces for two and a half years because I forgot/didn't-really-want to wear the rubberbands when I had to wear them. I was only scheduled for two years.

Wow, two years still sounds like a long time to be wearing braces, I might be totally off because I only had my own for 6 months, but...yeah, I can see why you wouldn't want to wear the rubberbands as well. Braces just made me more closed in from society than anything else. ~_~

129898. Since I don't really open my mouth at all to talk, most people never even knew I had them unless I said I did. And those rubberbands were just plain annoying to deal with at every meal time.
