Unless this five year old is a little girl whom gets cranky whenever something doesn't go her way and she's tired or hungry (she gets it from her mother *instinctively ducks to avoid whatever his mother throws at him, then remembers he's at work and she's sleeping at home*, and my brother's also this way for some reason - I somehow have managed to be the second calmest person in my family in spite of living with my mother the longest out of anyone in it EDIT: I also was primarily in the care of my grandmother those first 2 years, from whom my mother got her irritability).

130573. Yeah... my five year old sister is a five year old that doesn't need a sugar high (and I know a few other kids who don't need a sugar high).

And I just took the quiz that decides how the "Murderous Pidgeot" will kill me out of boredom, and I ended up with the same result I had a couple years ago. XD I would be clubbed to death by encyclopedias.

What they did can't be punished by death, but rest assured, they'll get whats coming to them ,whether it be karma, fate or something else. Everything happens for a reason, maybe this was to teach you to be strong? As long as you be strong, I guess material possessions don't matter. Emotional & physical wellbeing over, say, a TV? Right? A digital camera is a different thing, because they hold memories and I hate forgetting things, let alone having them stolen away. But as I said before, they'll get whats coming to them.[/jq]

They deserve every slice of justice they can get after getting caught, but to take their own potential life and condemn them for it is also hurtful in itself. It takes a strong person to consider the life of others no matter how dire the sin they've committed, than to hold a grudge that is likely to upset them further during your life.[/jq]

They made irreversable (is that even a word) mistakes, and, most importantly, taken away the one thing in Nan's life that makes her happy (besides her family, but ever since having the wii, she's been much happier), having the Wii has changed Nan's life, and even if we argue LOADS, I really care about her. She's been through a really tough life due to her mother, and when she finally has meaning in her life, a way to show she's smart, she can do something, it's taken away from her. Taking away all meaning from someone elses life, someone should pay the ultimate price for that, since they just don't realise the effect they'll have upon others lives. They'll most likely keep doing it, destroying others lives, and all I can hope for is for someone to finally step in and take charge, making sure no robberies ever occur again. :(

Absolutely, they've taken something precious to your family, and as much as you argue with Nan and even complain about her and your Pop wanting to pull you away to play the Wii, this was something that made them happy and that's helped liven things up. That died down after that thing was stolen and it'll be a tough pill to take. I know what it's like to be robbed, had several possessions of mine stolen and at least one of them had so much value to me at the time, I literally felt like dying when I lost it. But overtime it became something good enough to be repaired and perhaps bought again. Though you never really forget about the memory of what actually happened.

That may be easy for you but... Replacing the stuff? Yeah, sure, that's ttly gunna be easy. They struggled to pay $20 for something at school. They're on a pension, we have no income other than that.

The fact of the matter is, they're old, and Nan's probably not gonna get to play the Wii ever again in her life, and that, it's heartbreaking :(

You'd think there'd be a charity or something, like the Make a Wish Foundation that would do something.
