Sorry if anyone's brought this up already.

But...Maybe the traffic could be slowed down a bit until a new server is found? I noticed earlier that there were 70 people here but only 12 of us were actually members. You could set the community up so that only members can access/view the forums.

It may be an aggravating change but... I dunno.

I for one can only see this community about 5 % of the time I come here on weekends.

Edit: Yes, most of the traffic is definitely "guests" case in point, our viewers as of this posting:

Currently Active Users: 221 (69 members and 152 guests)

I agree with this in a way. But if guests can't view the forum, they probubly wouldn't join because they don't know what the forum is like. So I agree with your statement except, I think it should only allow a certain amount of guests at a time.

most of those 'guests' are search spyders.. their impact is minimal.. but you are right something needs to be done soon.. we are working on a new sever solution to hopefully solve this mess.. it should happen within the next month or so.. if all goes according to plan.
 
Yes i agree...stopping the bots would help right now...Until we get moved to a new server...the DBE's are getting so frequent that I can barely view PC...and it was down all last night...
ATM there are 135 guests and only 31 members...
And i got the following error message just a second ago while trying to access a thread:

Warning: mysql_query() [function.mysql-query]: Unable to save result set in /includes/class_core.php on line 363

I registered yesterday/2 days ago and still haven't seen any email yet and i can't post. Is this the right place to post this?
 
I agree, when i post or move to another thread it says data base error
and when i post it says a current error occur when you were posting and i push post quickly reply, and after the message has been posted i my post was double post
so i wonder if were going to have a maintenance to fix the problem?

Simply read the other posts before yours. There is nothing we could do about it, except switching to another server.
And, as it has been mentioned on a few occasions, this might happen next month.
 
The FAQ says I should PM an admin or mod if I don't recieve any email to activate my account, but where can I find a list of admins/mods who are currently online.

Admins are the ones with the Red, Purple, or Blue bold usernames in the online list.
Your account has been activated. :D

so then PC will not be accesable in weeks or months just like pokecharms????

Would anything help server times? Who is your host? Is there a Paypal tip jar where I can make a deposit?
