Oh wow, this club has so many pictures! It's been so long since I've come to PC... I really miss talking to everyone here ;___; Thanks for the contributions to the new members as well!

I ADORE it when Misty yells at Ash and Brock... mwaharharhar <3 I like her fiery personality more than any other female characters <33

Ugh, I hate when people use that reason to hate May. =/ If I was that closeminded, I would hate Dawn for replacing May then. <_< Misty's still the best though.

Hello, fellow members!

It's funny that lots of us are redrawn to this club every now and then, and I'm really happy about that =) (How long has it been since I've been to Pokecommunity again?.. )

Ari-chan and Kasu-chan posted some awesome pictures- some, even that I haven't seen before posted in this club =) ~ Kudos for everyone ^o^!

As far as the hatred issue goes, Busterwolf-kun is right, and we shouldn't just hate on a character put into the show. May/Haruka wasn't that bad of a character neither is Dawn/Hikari and I'm sure if they were both put alongside in the same group with Satoshi's gang, there would be less complaining and more appreciation toward the uniqueness of each character. Of course everyone has a right to post their own opinion. I'm just not one of those fans who believe any single character should be hated just because they 'replaced' a particular character. It's just the artist's way of doing things ~ and it's clear that they are indeed rethinking their strategy of getting Misty/Kasumi back on the show ~ not sure when, since they have let us down a couple times before, but perhaps in the newest upcoming season? It's always a possibility to hope =).

As for Dark_Azelf's argument, perhaps in the positive way, they are attempting to make a surprise (?) or they are afraid that their answer, "wrong", will appear backlashed with countless angry Misty fans XD! ~ Of course, I wouldn't be too sure anyways-- the Pokemon company is so iffy when it comes down to the anime -__-.

And, for weedle_mchairybug's topic: If Misty met Ariel (from TLM), how do you think they would think of each other? ~~ I actually think they might get along more--- since they both love water in general. There would be lots to see and do, and if, let's say if, by trident's power or some sort to give Misty actual fins, they both would have wonderful fun in the King Trident's Water Kingdom, of course greeted by awed stares as they witness Misty's beauty (Misty in her Mermaid costume looks so pretty!). Thus, to make things short, I think they would get along more, though in some cases I would agree they could be making lots of argument ~ they're both rebellious!

@Mistywishmaker: I like that part of her personality as well =) It's what makes me appreciate her character so much more than I've seen in other female characters I've came across and had the blessing to see.

@Kasumi: I would tell you who Ariel is, but I think Anime/MangaLover247 pretty much told you who she is.

You know, I should mention that some people (even her fans) state that Misty isn't exactly a good cook. But then again, didn't she technically "Cook" the medicene used to cure Ash, Tracey, and even Jessie of their stun spore sickness? And also, they did show some sort of artwork with Misty cooking up some sort of stew (It seems to be from some sort of magazine that deals with pokemon in general) and it had to at least have taken place in the Orange Islands due to the fact that Tracey was among them. Maybe Misty really isn't as bad a cook as "Sick Daze" would lead us to believe, since otherwise, Ash, Tracey and Jessie would have certainly died from that illness/Medicine. Maybe she isn't exactly as good a cook as Brock, but the fanbase (in general) shouldn't really say she is a bad one either, considering these facts, no offense. When I find this artwork, I will be sure to show it. And also, I doubt that Misty is a side character considering that she did quite a bit of stuff, far more than the side characters, and maybe even Ash (or at the very least is just barely below him.). Also, of all the classes of pokemon characters listed on Bulbapedia (Protagonists, Rivals, Antagonists, and side characters), Misty is listed in the Protagonists section, not the side characters.

Ok, as for the rest of the comments made:

@Busterwolf and Tkinc: I agree with the two of you somewhat, since despising May just because she replaced Misty is quite low. Now, if they had a reason similar to how Jynx was banned in the US, then, yeah, I can see that as a good enough reason for me. Also, I kinda told Dark Azelf why I am pretty sure that Misty is returning for diamond and pearl, Just FYI.

@Vaporeon219: Welcome to the club, but we would most appreciate it if you don't bash May or any character, even though you might dislike her. I mean, I don't exactly like her any more than you do, but you still shouldn't bash her since it's against forum policy.

Ok, as for a final comment, I think it is almost time to submit the petitions to the Pokemon Company HQs. Can you give me a status update on the signatures on every one of your Petitions to bring back Misty? I have exactly 529 signatures total at this time.

I thought that Misty can be in next episodes because Gary was in one of last eps. Don't you think so?

I think Ariel and Misty would get along pretty well. For some reason, I can picture the two of them exchanging opinions about the worlds they live in. I can also imagine them looking out for each other in case either if them get into trouble. Still, the idea sounds cute. 8D

Well, I'm back, everyone! Anyways, for an important news flash in regards to our plans, I went to the AWA convention and I got a whopping 150 signatures at the convention (maybe even more than that) in only two days (I would have gotten more than that, but there wasn't really enough time.) (I also got a "Broly" Action figure there, but that's not the the point.), If that many people in the convention were willing to sign the petition, then there is definitely some hope in attempting to bring back Misty.

Also, I also made a post on the Bulbagarden Forums Misty Club in regards to exactly why I am loyal to Misty and extremely determined to bring her back onto the main cast (Not to mention exactly why I have that hatred of the female anime stereotype). You can view it here if you wish to know, however, be warned, since it does contain my own negative opinions of the other Female main characters on the show (Much less the female anime characters in anime in general.) Oh, and in case you were wondering why I said those things in the closing paragraph, it's because the majority of the members of the Bulbagarden Forums Misty Club aren't exactly as loyal to Misty as I would have believed. I mean, no offense to those members here who are members of that club, but they are somewhat acting more like… ummm, to use an analogy that wouldn't be flaming, the disloyal servants from "The Odyssey", since they aren't even trying to bring her back (heck, from the responses they gave, they acted as though they didn't even give a care in regards to trying to bring back Misty), despite the fact that they are supposed to be her loyal fanbase.

Anyways, has anyone gotten any Signatures for the petitions? I'm Sorry if I Have to ask Multiple times, but I really need to know since we need the majority (or at the very least half) of the Pokemon fanbase in order to convince the writers to bring her back onto the main cast, and since we might have to send them off soon in order to convince the writers, we need a last minute check.

Actually, it's a vector of the screenshot from that scene. I redrew it and colored it differently on flash.

btw, I used to be like you, Weedle, but then I decided not to fight anymore and embrace the new things
And now I like not only Misty but Hinata, Natane and Shinji!
I understand how you feel though. Scott doesn't understand because he wasn't a loyal Misty fan.
 
hello everyone, I am back! and working on a new ash and misty video that should be uploaded to youtube by the end of this weekend. I also was just thinking to myself today how I think Ash's personality has changed for the worse and he is kind of boring. I think if Misty returned to the anime he would start acting like himself again (kind of goofy instead of being so serious all the time)I'm glad to hear that the petition is getting support. I haven't collected any signatures myself (like actual hand written signatures) but my online petition has almost 100 signatures, if anyone wants to sign it, the link is in my signature.

How about a new topic? What first made you like Misty?

Well, for me, the first episode I saw her in was Princess VS. Princess one day when I was very bored. When I first saw her, I got all happy since she looked so cute and adorable. I thought at first impact she was very determined and pretty spunky as well. I instantly loved her outfit, which I thought was one of the most original designs for a character. I became interested and began to cheer for her. After seeing her win, I felt so happy that I began to searh around the Internet for her, and then watched more episodes which made me into a fangirl. I also read a ton of fanfics back in this site called anml.com, but it doesn't work anymore sadly. That's where I heard about her personality and everything, and I was pretty obsessed. I just loved how sweet and adoring she can be along with not hesitating to punch others. After some time, she became my favorite character. <3 So yeah, I blame that episode. xD Watching the Pokeshipping moments made me like her more since I could relate to her so much when it came to secretly liking someone. Our personalitites just matched. We both become all defensive and stuff. It's so funny. I seriously wish she was real. xDDD I just came to love her character, and still do. <3
