Have you ever had that one moment while playing where you're about to lose, you're biting your nails, and then something happens and you come out the victor?

Facing Wattson, I only had my Breloom left, and I was facing his Manectric.
Breloom was paralyzed and was in the yellow, and his Manectric was in the red.
I couldn't land any hits because of paralysis and the fact that I have no luck.
Manectric used a Quick Attack on me. I was left with only 2 HP left.
But Breloom's Ability, Effect Spore, kicked in and poisioned him. As a result, the poision damage fainted him, and I won.
Happiest moment I've had playing Pokemon in a long time.

    How about you guys?

I've similar such moments where Ive given a slow pokemon the Quick Claw to hold and it's given them that extra boost to attack first when I needed it the most to get the win. One such instance was when Lances Dragonite was just about to destroy my Slowbro, my last pokemon at that point in time. Quick Claw got me the first move, and Ice Beam connected, critical hit, and BAM! Im the new champion.

    YES!
When I was battling a Garchomp, I had my Misdreavus left, my only way of winning was if Garchomp misses and Misdreavus lands a critical!
    And... That's what happened O_O

Not too long ago,I was battling Lance in SS I only had my Steelix left and he had only his Fire Blasting Dragonite Steelix had full heath as I had Healed during a recharge from a Hyper Beam anyway His dragonite had about 1/2 of it's health left. It used its Fire Blast (of course) and took steelix down to 10 hp! Steelix got a Crit with its Ice Fang I was elated I knew for sure I'd win but the damage stopped in the red I was crestfallen but then some then I realized the Ice Fang had froze Dragonite Solid, with lance out of full restores all I had to do was give it one last Ice fang and poof the battle was done.

Facing Aaron, my Alakazam couldn't OHKO Heracross and was hit by a Night Slash. Thinking with Heracross's godly attack stat, and Alakazam's paper-thin defenses I was a goner. Alakazam survived with 2 HP and Psychiched to victory. :]

Like TheSmartOne, I get intense moments during Elite 4 battles, as well as gym battles, especially when they're down to their last Pokemon and they're making short work of my Pokemon, but I do get relieved when I beat them in the end.

I was battling a friend of mine on the bus and she was using ubers and Pokemon that were much higher level than my Umbreon. Anyway, she was down to a level 75 Lugia, level 60 something Typhlosion with a little HP left, a Mewtwo that had a little sliver of HP left as well. My shiny Umbreon was level 52 and withstood two Hydro Pumps from Lugia and knocked it out with Payback. Just when I thought I was gunna lose, I remembered my lead Uxie put out Stealth Rock. And so I won. I really though I was gunna lose that one. I was SO HAPPY. /lol NCS

    Oh lawd.
My favorite that I'll never forget was with Claire in the original Gold version. She destroyed my team entirely. My last Pokemon was a level 2 Hoothoot that I used for flying me around and Flash. She had about 3-2 points of HP left.
    "Kingdra used Hyper Beam."
    Me: "...:c"
"Kingdra's attack missed! Hoothoot flew into the air!"
    "...o.o"
"Kingdra used Hyper Beam. Kingdra's attack missed. Hoothoot used Fly! Critical Hit. Foe Kingdra has fainted."
    Me: ":'DDDDD"

    So yeah.

I've got two, one was when i played a little bit of Emerald on an Emulator. I had come up on that trainer on Route 102 that had a Shroomish and a few other pokemon. All I had at the time was a poocheyena and a Mudkip. Shroomish managed to KO Poocheyena, so I sent out Mudkip and thought, well... this is embarrasing...
    Mudkip used Tackle!
    Critical Hit!
    Shroomish fainted
it was close to full health too lol.

Another was against Cynthia's Garchomp. Normally i wouldn't have that much of a problem, but this time was MUCH different, cause she kept OHKOing my Empoleon (my best bet against Garchomp.) with Earthquake before I could hit with Ice Beam. I tried a quick claw, but unfortunately couldn't get lucky enough. So one time I decided to take out my Garchomp (Draco)
Garchomp used Dragon Rush! (Draco survives with low HP)
Draco used Dragon Rush! (Garchomp survives with HP in Yellow)
I thought I was doomed at this point, so I just dragon rushed for the heck of it.
Garchomp used Flamethrower! (DRACO SURVIVES WITH 1 HP!!!!:DDD)
    Draco used Dragon Rush.
    Garchomp Fainted...

    :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

    lol luckiest moment EVER!

I'm trying EV train an Eevee of mine and decided to swim around the Whirlpool Islands. I come up to a Mantine and got it to the red easily, catching it was a difficult task. It took up all my ultra balls and so I started using my unused pokeballs. I had one regular pokeball left and used it on the Mantine. O_O I caught it using a regular pokeball!

One time I especially recall was helping a friend take on the E4 (after helping them get there! =p) in Silver. It came down to a Meganium with 2HP left against a Dragonite with about half left. Somehow Meganium went first and critical hit. XD

Turned out it had a Quick Claw all along. =D

I was battling the Dialga in Diamond and after battling Cyrus my Pokemon could only take 2 hits. I threw an Ultra Ball and it didn't get caught, but on my last opportunity, at full health, I threw another Ultra Ball and caught it.

Yes in the E4 against Lance in HG my Ampharos's Thunder never missed, same with my Jynx's Blizzard. Owned him without getting hurt because of no misses.

    I got 2.

The first happened when I first beat the E4. I got to Lance and got him down to his last dragonite and I had my peralized feraligator.
    Dragonite used Hyper Beam.
Me: Oh for the love of-
    Dragonite missed
    Me: Wait. What?
    Feraligator used avalanch.
    Dragonite fainted
    Me: 8)

The second happened when I was tag teaming against Claire and Lance. Silver ran out of pokes and I was left with my feraligator (again) vs two dragonites. Claire's dragonite had red health and Lance's dragon was at full. Also, my F-gator was about 10 levels below Lance's dragonite. I used surf, because I new I was KO Claire's dragonite. I then defeated Lance the same way as I did before (minus the hyper beam).

My most recent moment of relief: While playing PBR on Wi-Fi, I survived with (I think it was) my Heatran at 11 HP, then Heatran ko'ed the other person's last pokemon. Heatran was also my last pokemon, so I honestly didn't think I would win. (Other pokemon was a Vaporeon, I think)

my favorite one would have to be in emerald. my treeko fainted for some reason and i saved and turned the power off, didnt play the game for about a week or so. when i picked it back up i forgot treeko fainted so i went into a battle with a level 2 zigzagoon.... the person i was going against had a level 7 or 8 zigzagoon, i still thought treeko wasnt fainted so i checked to see if i could switch it out and thats when i found out what predicament i was in. i used tackle it missed of course, the other zigzig used tackle and left me with alittle over half health and im just looking at the power switch but i wanted to see how it would end. i used tackle again and it actually hit for one and got a critical hit and it had half hp. the foe used tackle and it missed luckily and then i used tackle also and it hit leaving it in the yellow but almost red, this went on for a while because tackle kept missing for me and then the foe started using growl for some reason... well finally it got to the end of the battle where i used tackle with it 95% chance of missing apprently, the foe had its health in the red and and i had 3hp left, i used tackle ang got a miracle critical hit and won with a level 2 zigzagoon against another zigzagoon that was 5 or 6 levels higher.

    Firered Champion Battle
    Champion last pokemon = Aerodactyl
    My last pokemon = Electabuzz
    Aerodactyl used ancientpower!
    Aerodactyls attack missed!
    Electabuzz used Thunderbolt!
    Aerodactyl fainted!

Things like that always happen to me.... in reverse. The gym leader (Norman in this example) is down to Vigoroth, it's in the red. All I have left is Swampert, who is in the yellow. I was like "I got this" then one miss, Vigoroth hits, two misses, Vigoroth hits, three misses in a row, Vigoroth KO's Swampert, note that my accuracy was never lowered during the battle. And in some situations, my only Pokemon that is strong against say, the Champion's Pokemon, gets KO'd by a lucky critical. Do I ever get a critical that makes me win a battle that I would've lost? Not often.
