Lilligant is my favourite Pokemon and after a failed attempt to Masuda one I tried to Dexnav one on the Mirage Island. I got her after a chain of 2. Thankfully Gen 6 Petilil is much more noticeable with the blue eyes in Gen 6. In Gen 5 Shiny Petilil was near unnoticeable.

Now she is an adorable Shiny pink flowered Lilligant. :)

False. I have only ever pre-ordered Sun. I got a Steelbook and a Solgaleo figure for pre-ordering.

The person below has obtained a Shiny Grass Type at some point.
 
Other than the prevoius Petilil I've hatched a Shiny Tangela as well.

The person below me has taken a Bibarel to any Elite 4.

How many eggs did you hatch before switching methods? Well at least in the end you obtained it. I could never use the Dexnav for shiny's because of missing out on egg moves and such.
 
False. Bibarel is not worthy for the hall of fame.

I think I did 5 boxes (With Shiny Charm) before losing patience as Masuda is tedious. I am not much of a competitive player so don't concentrate on egg moves. I was overjoyed to find a Shiny Petilil. :)

Incidentally my only hatched Shiny ever was a Shiny Vullaby (Now Mandibuzz) in Gen 7 with the Shiny Charm after about 80 eggs. Thankfully Vullaby is an instantly recognisable Shiny and I do like the purple collar on Shiny Mandibuzz.

Was that in Oras or X/Y? Not having the endless circle at Luminose tower was a pain. : ( Any methods good if the shiny mon is the only goal. : )

Congrats on getting something out of this method and super earlier to.

False: never tried, but as I live in a Spanish speaking country, the rumor somehow spread but with some modifications (such as the only Pokémon capable of moving the truck was Nidoking or worse, that if you beat Giovanni with just a Rhydon on your party he would give you the keys for the truck, etc.). The thing is that nearly 10 or 11 years after Red/Blue/Yellow's release, when Internet and Youtube were a thing, I was desperate to find a video that checked out if the rumor was really true.

It was in XY. The circle was welcome but I had a feeling that I would introduce the Petilil line to the wild in Kalos.

False. Outside of battle facilities which probably don't count anyway I have no interest in competitive battling.

True 100%. Everytime I play through hoenn I spend a lot of time looking for a good nature, female ralts. It is my second favorite Pokemon, after all.
