I also have a lot of repeated items on my teams, as well. But I needed something to make my Gym different. And Item Clause seemed like a good choice.

yep you post your challenge here, then vm/pm the one you challenged then as you said wait til you get a reply or just challenge someone else.

and change my gym icon to open? i get more challenges then anybody!
