Sadly, the Midlands are one of the worst places to live in England, and I'd know. There are always chavs and thugs who love nothing more than to make someone else's life a misery for the sake of "fun". And, no doubt, those people will end up serving a portion of their lives in prison.

Yeah, it happens like.. everyday that I walk back, somebody critizes my hair, my bag, my coat, me. x__x; It's weird, because there's so many of them, it's just really hard to get round them, I mean, I've never stayed out of this place really very much and stayed somewhere else in England, but I just don't see how this can get any worse, well obviously I've saw worse, but it's just too hard to beleive something like that.

Unfortunately, there's nothing much that can be done to single handedly stop behaviour like that. I guess you just have to take solace in the fact that you will eventually be moving away from here. You will leave the place for a better area, and you'll never have to see those lowlifes again.

Yeah, no doubt about I'm going to a better area, and it's not for the fact that there's no way in hell this can get any better, it's just simply for the fact that I actually went to Wales for a week, and through that whole week, I didn't get critiziced about a single thing, I know it was a long time ago and it was Junior school, but the people can't change too much, can they?

Only thing I can really recommend is to either make sure you avoid the people who are like that, or always travel with a group of friends. Thugs usually only attack individuals who are smaller than them, they tend to back away from groups of people.

I would get away, but like I said, it's nearly impossible, my Parents have even considered picking me up right afetr the school gates, which I think would be a MUCH better option, it's better than me wasting time and getting the crap took out of me than doing the opposite to that. o_o;

Of course, fighting back is also an option. But given how they're older than you and there are more of them, it's not really something a smart person would do.

I was gonna fight back, or by at least having a little go at them, but I know it'd be too hard to do considering they were like.. four guys that were three years older than me, and plus I don't think it would of been worth it at all.

Edit: I don't think they do it for a reason, I think i'm just the unlucky one, but i've saw this kinda thing happen alot.

Is it just you that they target or are they like that to a lot of people? You're always gonna find thugs like that no matter where you go, but the chavs seem to greatly outnumber the normal people around here. And I've been to Wales a few times in my life, it's always been a nice place to visit. Where about are you moving to?

Sadly, people can become completely different in once they hit puberty, and usually for the worse. One of my best friends in primary school is now in prison for armed robbery. Yet he was one of the most well behaved people at our school.

But people change based on their surroundings. He started hanging around with thugs and criminals, and naturally developed into one himself.

Yeah, that'd be an ideal solution to the situation. So hopefully your parents will do that until you move.

Nah, it wouldn't. I know I really shouldn't, but I normally encourage kids to fight back against bullies, if they have a chance of winning. Bullies wont stop until someone stands up to them and fights back. But you doing that would've just been an invitation for them to gang up on you.

But, really, make sure your parents pick you up from now on. Nobody should have to suffer like that while they're just walking home from school.

Ugh, Chavs -.- What could be worse, I can't go out to the shop which is just up the road without seeing a chav in their tracksuits and fake rings >.< Whenever they're on their own they are complete and utter cowards xD Once in school (There are like, 5 chavs in my class), 4 of them were away so there was only 1 chav in class for the day (And was I happy XD). This Chavette seemed to be getting bored so she decided to throw paper at my friends head and called her stupid names, my friend got really annoyed and as soon as this chav cursed at her again she got up and went up to the chav with the most terrifying face ever shouting "Brrraaaaap" (She was taking the mick out of the chav xDD); that soon shut the chav up for a while ;D

Also, constantly in maths the only thing that the chavs talk about is pulling people, getting drunk, fighting and drugs; they do no work and bunk the lesson most of the time anyway xD I'll be laughing at them when they work at Mcdonalds for minimum wage >D

I sometimes get into positions where some chavs start annoying me by swearing etc... and if they start using physical contact I'd tell them to get lost, if they carry on I fight back. I don't really get that much though, because I have the reputation of a "Crazy Karate person" among the chavs O_o; yeah, I did do Karate, but I'm not gonna do anything dangerous like break their neck XD

Nah, it's not me, I see a lot of kids getting treated the same way, well I wouldn't really say a lot, but on a normal basis. I know they're gonna be thugs everywhere I go, but it'd be nice to decrease that number, it's nearly a fact now that everyone who isn't my friend, has something against me. o_O;
I'm moving to West Wales, about five minutes from the beach, and my weight isn't so good at the minute, and so they'll be nothing to stay in for, i'll be right on the coast. xD

Wow, really? And yeah, people do change, but I wouldn't say that they totally changed, and to make matters a little better, who says it always has to be for the worst? When I was young, I was quite badly behaved, but then I got hold of my senses and worked myself out. o_O;

But people change based on their surroundings. He started hanging around with thugs and criminals, and naturally developed into one himself.

Yeah, but I guess that's what happens when you hang around with them type of people, I guess you just learn from them.

Yeah, that'd be an ideal solution to the situation. So hopefully your parents will do that until you move.

Yeah, it'd help me from worrying about it and all the other benefits I stated in previous posts, but even when I'm coming down the path through gate. x_x;

Yeah, gangs round here are quite awkward, and would do anything really for other members of the gang, they probably don't care about anyone else.

But, really, make sure your parents pick you up from now on. Nobody should have to suffer like that while they're just walking home from school.

Yeah, I mean some days there are times when it actually doesn't happen, but them days are pretty rare to find, they're mainly days where I get out early, before a lot of other people get chance to crowd me.

Yeah, bullying really sucks and it should be a banned practice all over the world! I remember a certain period of my younger days when I used to get bullied daily. I must've been about 6 or 7.

When I was toddler, my older brother and I always used to walk to school together. The school was pretty close and we all know walking can be good exercise to anyone. It was all cool the first few days then my brother made this friend who lived only a couple of houses away. Very soon, we'd be stopping by his home every morning so he could join us in our journey to school. Three was never crowd and he was cool to hang out with at first.

After days of walking together, my brother's friend started changing. I don't know what triggered it, but somewhere down the road, he developed a passion for pinching people. Maybe it was a pre-teen phase he was going through, or a testing process to see people's reactions to various types of pinches. Either way, I ended up being the lab rat to his painful experiments. He would pinch my little arms every single morning to the point I practically had tears in my eyes.

And just when I thought it couldn't get any worse, good old Mother Nature went and grew him a sharp set of nails. -.-

And of course he never cut them. In fact, I think he kept his nails in the good shape they were for my sake. The pinching ritual would go on every morning, and there were times where I would literally cry and all he would do was laugh. He was a lot bigger than me and the thought of fighting back didn't even cross my mind.

The part that really sucked the most though, was that my brother was always right there, walking right beside us every morning and never did anything to control his friend's behaviour. I don't even remember him asking once for his friend to stop bullying me.

I think that's one of the many early life experiences that have led to the mistrust in family members and self-esteem problems I have today.

But now that I'm older and smarter I'll never let something like that happen to me again. =)

Ooh, bullying sucks. I remember getting constantly picked on for my huge buck teeth X_X Sounds lame now that I've had braces (for three years!), but it still packed a punch.

I got bullied lots. Most probably because of a secret everyone knew and used it against me. Like..getting ignored, teased..Oh, one girl wanted to fight me, but I got out of it.

I tried doing the same things back but..nope, those mean little buggers kept on. High school was the same kinda, but that was my stubborn-ness's fault. Hopefully the bullying will be over this year, as what I say every year..

eh, Nica, bullying never stops, sorry to tell you. =(
N' ya, i get bullied lots, on the account of who I am.. >.>
Oh man, they gave me so many different names, go to the nickname threa dif you want to see a few of them.. >< lol

I avoid fights, im violent-obsessed, but i dont fight myself.... i just cant... it just feels to weird to fight...lol, i remember back in like, grade 6, my friend tried to teahc em how to punch and kick properly, and i just walked away XD

Doesn't it? The how come I hear of people who have never been bullied/never will?

Either because they know way too many people, are just cool people, or there are just unknown and feared by all.

I hear that the reason nobody has ever bullied me was because they didn't know me or what I would do if I actually was...

Bullies tend to pick on people they know are weak or have no hostile nature whatsoever.

Hoping ain't gonna do anything Nica. It never does.

The next time somone wants to upset you, just turn your back on them and walk away, just to show them that it doesn't affect you. They'll eventually stop when they realise who don't give a rat's bottom about them.

It aint that easy when you have to sit next to them in classes. And have no choice but listen to them.

Just ignore them. Don't even look at them or acknowledge their existence.

And besides, your teacher's would be glad to assist you with any problems in the class room. Just inform them of your situation, and I'm sure that they'll think of some excuse to move them.

And if they do find out it was you who moved them, who cares?! They should no that they're a bunch of morons who have no respect for you.

Knowing the teachers..I've already asked to be moved..about 5 times. Same people say that teacher is deaf. But..meh, They're improving..a little.

Do you guys ever like ur teacher, I mean sometimes they get to be mean. But its kinda weird cauz when you meet them after school there nice and its like nothing has happened.

You should talk to the teacher's after class and tell them why you want to be moved. Or, if that isn't working, get your parents to call up and have them request that something be done about it.

You have to show more initiative Nica and try to get this fixed.

...You do have a choice. If you're not willing to sink down at their level and bother them or pursue vendetta, just do as Ray said, ignore them. Those people merely want to see you upset, and you're not to give them that pleasure. Teacher's aren't always kind and understanding, and it's always better to sort your ways out of these kind of problems by yourself-- after all, that's what will define your stance towards life itself.

I agree, they'll give up eventually if you ignore them. Making a good reputation for yourself doesn't hurt either. Lol, your going to have to find a way to do that yourself though.

My grandparents don't need to be alerted of anymore school problems.

CHOKE UR TEACHER. Lol hahaha. kidding.. :) if there other way.

Teachers arent that bad.

I would sort the problem out myself..it's just that they are the popular ones everyone likes..so no-one else could back me up anyway.

Ow..My foots sore.
