The Pokemon Adventure: Kanto Region

Episode 10 - Unwelcome Saviour

Charmander skipped into the darkness of Rock Tunnel, luckily the flame on the end of his tail produced enough light for him to see where he was going.
Zeke stumbled along behind the cheerful lizard Pokémon, "Charmander!" he called in a slight whisper, "Slow down, I can't see as well as you."
The fiery Pokémon stopped and turned to face his trainer, "Char, Char!" it called loudly, pointing into the darkness of the cave.

Zeke knelt down and patted Charmander on the head, "I know you want to get through this cave so we can find Belinda," he assured, "But I don't have a fiery tail like you."
Charmander let out a sort of "half-assed" laugh and scratched the back of his head, "Mander, Char," he apologised.

"It's alright..." said Zeke, returning to his upright position, "Just don't walk too quickly." He pulled a Pokéball from his belt and held it out in front of him, "Golbat can see in the dark," Zeke pointed out, "He'll be able to help me get through this cave quicker."
There was a sudden flash of blinding light that lit up the whole cave for a split second and there, flapping happily in front of Zeke was his courageous bat Pokémon, Golbat.

Zeke glanced at both Charmander and Golbat before turning his sights to the darkness which covered the cave, "Let's be on our way, guys!" he seemed to announce as he began marching into the darkness.

~~~~~
About 15 minutes into the cave Zeke collapsed to his knees, "I've tripped over countless times and my feet are killing me," he said angrily, "Just give me a second to rest."
Charmander and Golbat stared at Zeke, then to each other and back to Zeke. There was a look of confusion on both of their faces; neither of them felt the least bit tired.
Zeke groaned as he dragged his weak body over to the cave wall, resting against it... he breathed a sigh of relief, "We'll keep moving in a second..."
All of a sudden Zeke's ear drums seemed to explode as a loud roar echoed through the cave, causing a few loose rocks to fall from the ceiling. "What the hell was that?" questioned Zeke loudly, Charmander huddled close to Zeke and Golbat screeched angrily.
Out of the corner of his eye Zeke saw a pale blur fly out of the darkness at an alarming rate. He jumped to his feet and turned to see a young boy crumpled in a heap on the rocky ground, he didn't look like he was moving.
"Hey!" Zeke yelled as he ran over to the boy, "Are you..." he stopped, once he had gotten a closer look it was clear that this boy was in fact Dane Fletcher.
"Wha...?" moaned the boy, "What happened?" he asked pulling himself into a "comfortable" position. Dane turned to see Zeke standing next to him, in a flash the injured boy was on his feet and glaring angrily at Zeke, "What are you doing here?" he questioned menacingly.
The boys anger was replaced by fear as he heard the deafening roar once again, "Oh-no! It's back!" he screamed hiding behind Zeke.
"Don't just stand there!" he screamed at Zeke, "Do something!"
Zeke turned to the darkness before him and watched in fear as a large grey snake Pokémon made entirely out of boulders emerged in front of him.
"What's that thing?" he asked as he pulled out his Pokédex.
[PokeCommunity.com] The Pokemon Adventure: Kanto Region
Onix: the rock snake Pokémon.
When it travels underground, it causes rumbling and tremors. It can move at 50 mph.
"And you want me to fight that thing?" asked Zeke as peered back at Dane. The cowering teenage boy nodded and sunk lower, "Ok," replied Zeke, turning to Golbat, "Golbat! Give it a Confuse Ray!"
The bat Pokémon flew towards the Onix, sending colourful rings of energy out of its mouth. Onix wobbled slightly and slipped, crashing its hard body into the cave walls.
Zeke now turned to Charmander, "Use Smokescreen to make it unable to see where it's going!" he called, pointing towards the confused Onix.
Charmander jumped into action, it opened its mouth and bellowed black smoke at the Onix.
The large rock Pokémon was now completely disoriented and was unable to use any offensive attacks.
Zeke glanced between Golbat and Charmander, "Golbat, use Wing Attack! Charmander, fire your Ember into Golbat's attack!" he commanded.
Golbat and Charmander followed their trainer's orders. First Golbat flapped its wings as hard as it could, sending two pillars of air towards the rock Pokémon. As soon as it saw Golbat's attack Charmander shot a small flame attack right into it.
Zeke's plan worked, the pillars of air were now flaming wildly. They crashed straight into Onix and knocked it over, nearly doing a full back flip. It crashed to the ground with a loud thud and fell unconscious.
Dane stepped out in front of Zeke, "Nice work," he congratulated. "Now..." he continued, "I challenge you to a battle!"
Zeke's jaw dropped, he had just saved Dane's life and all he wanted in return was a Pokémon battle?
"Umm, Gold, your brother is falling behind again…"
Gold jerked to a stop so quickly that Pikachu almost flew off his shoulder. He angrily turned around and saw Silver slowly walking behind, pouting like a little kid.
"I guess he's still angry that he is stuck traveling with us," Emerald sighed. "I dunno why he has it so strongly against you, Gold."
"I don't know, but whatever it is, he is acting like a big baby," Gold said coldly. He whirled around and looked back at Silver. "Hey, hurry it up back there! We need to get to Celadon as quickly as possible!"
Silver mumbled under his breath and got closer behind the other three trainers. "Man, this is so lame. I don't need to travel with you," he growled.
"Aww, c'mon, traveling with Gold isn't that horrible. I mean, yeah, he can be a pain and annoying sometimes, but he's okay," Bret said cheerfully. Gold punched him hard on the shoulder causing him to rub for a few minutes.
Emerald looked gleefully on the path. "Silver, I think you're just being a little too harsh about the situation." he said happily. "I think you should lighten up a little bit more.
Silver angrily blew a piece of hair in his face out of the way. "Whatever," he mumbled. Gold listened to him mumble so more and then ignored him to focus more on the path.
The new group of four traveled for a while before Emerald let out a deep breath of air. "Well, I think this is a good place to stop for a while," he said. The other three trainers collapsed on the floor, exhausted from the travel.
Gold pulled out his pokeballs and held them out for the other trainers to see. "Hey, we should let our pokemon out for a while," Gold said. Emerald and Bret nodded and pulled out their pokeballs as well. They all threw them in the air at the same time.
Flashes filled the air and soon, seven pokemon appeared in front of their trainers. Pidgeotto, Ivysaur, Flareon, Zubat, Meowth, Diglett, and a pokemon that Gold had never seen appeared. It looked like a turtle with a large busy tail in the back.
"Hey, is that yours?" Gold asked Emerald. He nodded at him happily. Gold pulled out his pokedex and pointed it at the turtle.
Wartortle, the Turtle Pokemon, read the pokedex. It is said to 10,000 years. Its furry tail is popular as a symbol of longevity.
"Wow, that's really cool," Gold said over the voices of the cheerful pokemon. Emerald grinned and looked at the pokemon.
Silver was sitting at a tree all alone. He didn't bother to call out his pokemon at all. Pikachu saw the young trainer sitting alone and leaped off Gold's shoulder to rush over to him. Flareon followed him over to the lone trainer.
Pikachu leaped on Silver's knees and smiled at him. "Pika, pika," it said happily.
Silver rolled over on his side, making Pikachu jump off. "Go away, little rat," he mumbled. Pikachu lowered his ears and sighed at the trainer. Gold rushed over and looked at Pikachu, Flareon, and Silver.
"Aww, look at that, Silver," Gold said cheerfully. "Pikachu and Flareon wants to be your friends."
"I don't need to be friends with loser pokemon like them. I only need strong ones," Silver mumbled. Gold glared at his older brother and was about to leave until he heard a loud noise coming right for their campsite.
All the pokemon and their trainers suddenly stopped and looked towards the figures making the loud racket. It was four pokemon, two of different types of pokemon. They both looked like lizards of some sort, except one was a small orange one while the other three were larger and red color. All four of them had a long tail with a flame lit at the end. Gold quickly whipped out his pokedex to get data on the charging pokemon.
He first pointed it at the small orange one. Charmander, the Lizard Pokemon, it read. The fire on the tip of its tail is a measure of its life. If healthy, its tail burns intensely.
Gold then pointed the pokedex at the larger red pokemon.
Charmeleon, the Flame Pokemon, read the pokedex. In the rocky mountains where Charmeleon live, their fiery tails shine at night like stars.
Silver came out from his little corner and shoved Gold to the side, almost making him drop his pokedex. He pulled out a pokeball and held it in the air. "Get out of the way," he growled. "I need to capture one of those charmeleons for my team and I don't need you to mess me up."
"Okay, okay, relax," Gold said. "I don't need one of those pokemon anyway."
Gold then looked up and noticed something. Those pokemon were not causing a rampage at all. The Charmeleons were blasting fire at the Charmander while it was running, crying in pain as the flames hit its back.
"Silver, wait, we need to help the Charmander!" Gold shouted. He knew that Silver had heard, he was just ignoring him and was planning to continue to attack. He ran beside him and whipped out his own pokeball. He had to prevent Silver from hurting the charmander. He knew that he would if he had to do it to get to Charmeleon.
"Ivysaur, help out!" shouted Gold. He threw the pokeball and his plant pokemon appeared.
Silver looked furious at Gold before calling on his own pokemon. A large, pig monkey pokemon appeared. Silver's mankey had evolved into primeape. "I've already told you, get out of my way."
"And I've already told you, I'm not interested in those pokemon. I have a different goal than you. I won't get in your way, I promise."
Silver glared at him before focusing on the battle. "Primeape, use screech to surprise them!" he ordered. Primeape screeched out in the air at the running pokemon. All four of them stopped and held their ears, including Gold. He really hated that attack.
"Ivysaur, use vine whip- on- charmander," he gasped through the air at his pokemon. Ivysaur stretched out two long vines and grabbed the little fire pokemon, pulling it back towards him.
The two Charmeleons saw Gold's move and furiously stomped over towards him. Silver snapped his head towards the three giant lizards and pointed his finger at them. "Primeape, grab one of those pokemon with seismic toss!" he shouted. Primeape leaped in the air and wrapped its whole body around one of the Charmeleon and slammed him to the ground. The other Charmeleons suddenly stopped and flipped around to face the pig monkey attacking their comrade. Both of them pounced on him and began to slash him with their short claws, freeing the trapped Charmeleon.
Gold quickly pointed his finger in the air towards the mess with the attacking pokemon. "Ivysaur, help out with vine whip!" he shouted. Ivysaur extended his vines again and began to whip all three of the Charmeleon down to the ground. They all three whirled around and began to attack Ivysaur again with their claws.
Silver stood back and watched Gold's pokemon being clobbered to the ground. Gold angrily looked at him. "Aren't you going to help him?!" he shouted. Silver just grunted and continued to stay back.
Gold looked back towards the field at his pokemon being pounded. His pokemon was unable to anything about it either. Gold cursed his brother and tried to figure out a way to get his pokemon out of the mess before he knew that there was nothing he could do really.
Suddenly, the little charmander cried out in whimpering pain. The Charmeleons suddenly stopped and turned to face the hurt pokemon as if they forgot that they were chasing it in the first place. The pounced right back on it and continued their torture on it.
Gold could easily say that those pokemon were extremely vicious. He looked over and saw Silver grin. He watched his little brother being tortured, so he was going to capture one of the Charmeleon now to put the icing on the cake. He held up his hand before Gold shouted out to him.
"No, Silver, don't attack!!" he shouted desperately at his brother. He had looked seconds before and realized that if he attacked, the charmander, who was already hurt, could be extremely damaged.
Silver looked at his brother before bending his head down as if he was thinking really hard. He then snapped it upward and sighed. "Primeape, use low kick!!" he shouted.
"No!!" Gold shouted. He watched his brother becoming reckless again as his Primeape charged towards the fire pokemon. When it was close enough, Primeape slid hard in the dirt, but not like Gold thought he would. Instead of using it as an attack, Primeape used the attack to slid right underneath Charmander and slid to safety.
Gold looked completely shocked at the scene, but had other things to worry about. His Ivysaur managed to get the strength to stand again, so Gold made his order for him.
"Do the hardest razor leaf you can!" he shouted.
Ivysaur shot out many leaves from its bulb towards the giant lizards. They hit them hard and made them fall backwards. All three of them stood up and took off in the opposite direction in fear.
"No!" Silver shouted. "You little dork!" he directed at his little brother.
"I- I," Gold stammered.
"Char, char," said a gleeful voice. Charmander had walked up to Silver and sounded like it was giving its thanks to the trainer. It grabbed Silver's left leg and held it tight in embrace.
"Aww, how cute," Gold said cheerfully.
"Ugh," Silver said. He bent down and examined the little fire pokemon. "Yeah, I know I saved you and all, but you're a little too wimpy to be on my team, so sorry," he said.
Charmander continued to hug him as if it didn't hear the trainer's rude remark on the pokemon. It then saw a pokeball on the trainer's belt. Reaching over, it clicked the center of the ball and was sucked inside. Gold and Silver watched shocked as the pokeball clicked shut.
"Wha- what," stammered Silver.
"Congratulations, you've just captured Charmander," said Gold sarcastically.
Silver quietly placed the Charmander pokeball on his belt and then taking a second of pause, he walloped his brother upside the head making him see stars.
Episode 35: Clauses Return (Part 1)
Dashing through a cave with limited sight is pretty hard, as Chris is finding out, but he dare not stop because of the maniac behind him.
"Run run as fast as you can! You can't escape the hunter man! Haha!" Laughed the man as he rounded the corner that Chris just dashed through.
"Why are you doing this Clause?!" Yelled Chris to the mad poacher, the response was.
"Thanks to you, I almost got banished!" Yelled Clause smirking since he knew that this way led to a dead end.
"Banished, from what?" Asked Chris as he slammed into the wall. "Oww..." Clause laughed before saying.
"I can't tell. Our lord is making us keep secret, not even the two that are following you know that I'm with them." Chris, seeing no way out sent out Dragonite to fight, but the two figures from the past two episodes jumped in.
"Hey, Clause! Just do what we hired you to do!" Yelled the woman, but Clause had appearantly sent his Arbok out to fight.
"Arbok, use Hyper Beam! Blast these two away!" Yelled Clause, and in response the snake fired a Hyper Beam, sending the two through the hole in the ceiling.
"Aah, nuts. Oh well, I'll see you all again soon enough." Said the girl as both people landed in the ocean.
(Clause and Chris)
"Got to get out of here." Said Chris before turning to Dragonite. "Use Dragon Rush and get us out of here!" Dragonair saw that Clause was back, and smashed through the wall, creating a new exit, but Clause ran over to Chris and slammed him against another wall.
"Ha! Do you think I'll let you out of here? Well... NO! I got a lot stronger then last time, so I could kill you!" Yelled Clause before pointing to the ceiling. "Use Hyper Beam once more!" And since Arbok could see the finger pointing up, he fired the beam into the ceiling creating another big hole.
"Why do you keep doing that?" Asked Chris confused about the holes.
"So we can see. I may want to kill you, but I want you to see your doom." Said Clause as he returned Arbok. Chris did the same with Dragonair, knowing that it would give Clause an edge if he kept him out.
"Come on out Porygon!" Yelled Clause summoning the computerized pokemon.
"Let's go Crobat!" Yelled Chris summoning his pokemon at the same time. "Let the fight begin."
(ooc: The fight will be next chapter, oh and Clause and Brent would be at the same rank as each other.)
Episode 11 - Battle in the Dark!
"3 on 3 Pokémon battle," began Dane, "You may substitute whenever you want." Zeke and Dane stood 15 metres apart, but the darkness in the cave meant that neither of them could see their opponent.
"I'll start with... Golduck!" screamed Dane as he hurled a Pokéball into the darkness. A blinding flash lit up the cave and a large blue Pokémon appeared.
Zeke pulled out his Pokédex and pointed it at the duck.
[PokeCommunity.com] The Pokemon Adventure: Kanto Region
Golduck: the evolved form of Psyduck.
The flippers of its well-developed limbs give it shocking speed. It is the best swimmer among Pokémon.
Zeke smirked, "Too bad there's no water around here, aye?" he teased as he plucked a Pokéball from his belt. "I choose Scyther!" he yelled tossing the Pokéball out in front of him.
Zeke's green bug Pokémon appeared, glaring at its opponent angrily.
Dane shrugged and pointed at Scyther, "Let's start this off with a Scratch attack, Golduck!" ordered Dane. Golduck ran towards Scyther and swung its sharp claws swiftly, but Scyther was too quick and managed to dodge the attack.
"Your Golduck may be faster in water, but on land Scyther has the upper hand," yelled Zeke. "Scyther! Give it a Slash attack!" he said quickly, Scyther spun around and raised one of its sharp arms in the air.
Dane reacted quickly, "Golduck, use Water Pulse!" he screamed. Golduck turned around and opened its mouth, shooting a huge beam of water at Scyther before it could finish its attack.
Scyther flew back and crashed into the hard cave wall, it fell to the ground limply.
"We're still in this Scyther!" assured Zeke, "Get up and use Agility!" Scyther rose to its feet and suddenly disappeared.
Dane looked around to see if he could find where it was, but Scyther was going too fast.
"Golduck!" yelled Dane, "Keep your eyes open for Scyther!" Dane was now getting quite nervous and thought that Golduck might not have been the best choice against Scyther.
"Scyther! Use your False Swipe, followed by a Razor Wind attack," ordered Zeke suddenly. Scyther appeared quickly behind Golduck and lashed out with its sharp blade like arms; Golduck buckled over and put its hands forward in order to stand.
Scyther did a somersault in the air and ended up hovering in front of Golduck; it shot a jet of air towards Golduck and caused it to topple over backwards.
Dane held out Golduck's Pokéball and returned the large duck Pokémon. He glared at where he thought Zeke was and pulled out another Pokéball, "Go Primeape!" he yelled. The angry monkey Pokémon emerged from the Pokéball and began jumping up and down madly.
Zeke pulled out his Pokédex again and pointed it at Primeape.
[PokeCommunity.com] The Pokemon Adventure: Kanto Region
Primeape: the evolved form of Mankey.
It grows angry if you see its eyes and gets angrier if you run. If you beat it, it gets even madder.
"I've got just the thing..." said Zeke, returning Scyther to its Pokéball. He glanced down at Charmander and nodded toward Primeape. The lizard Pokémon obeyed and jumped out onto the field.
Dane laughed, "Primeape, use Focus Energy!" he ordered. The angry monkey slowly calmed down and stood motionless.
"Now give it a Karate Chop!" he yelled, Primeape snapped out of its calm stat and leapt towards Charmander. It extended a paw and smashed Charmander on the top of the head.
Charmander rolled over backwards and landed at Zeke's feet, "Don't worry Charmander, just get back up and use your Ember attack," encouraged Zeke, Charmander stood up and jumped out onto the field again, but then suddenly stopped. The fire Pokémon began glowing brightly, it grew larger and a large horn grew out of the back of its head.
The light faded and a new Pokémon stood on Zeke's side of the field, "Charmeleon!" it roared loudly, Zeke pulled out his Pokédex and pointed it at the new Pokémon.
[PokeCommunity.com] The Pokemon Adventure: Kanto Region
Charmeleon: the evolved form of Charmander.
In the rocky mountains where Charmeleon live, their fiery tails shine at night like stars.
Dane smirked, "My Primeape is still stronger!" he said, forcefully. "Primeape, use Rage!" he commanded, Primeape glared at Charmeleon and its eyed began to glow red. The monkey Pokémon charged at Charmeleon and started punching rapidly.
Charmeleon dodged every shot and managed to grab Primeape by the forearm; it smirked and spun the monkey around and around. He let go and Primeape flew towards Dane quickly.
Primeape collided with Dane and they both crashed into the cave wall, causing a large rock to fall from the ceiling. Dane looked up just in time to see the rock crush his right leg.
Dane screamed out in pain, he clenched his teeth and turned to Zeke, "Help me!" he demanded.
To Kevmysta: good post! very nice ending!
Episode 12 - Zubat Ambush!
"1...2...3!" counted Zeke as he prepared to move the large rock that was pinning Dane down, the rock moved slightly but stayed on top of Dane's leg. "Ok... here we go," Zeke said, rubbing his hands together. With one last push the rock rolled off of Dane's leg, freeing him and easing the pain.
"I could have done it myself..." muttered Dane as he stood up and dusted himself off, he smirked and looked down at Zeke's angry face.
Zeke jumped to his feet and grabbed Dane by his shirt collar, pushing him hard against the cave wall, "What the hell is your problem?" he yelled, demanding an answer.
Dane leaned his head forward, his nose almost touching Zeke's, "You don't know the half of it!" he screamed. "I don't need your help..." he continued, "I don't need anyone's help!"
Zeke pulled Dane off the wall, only to smash him into it again, "I saved you twice already... the least you could do is thank me!" He let go of Dane and turned around, he began walking away.
A tear ran down Dane's face and he ran up to Zeke, spinning him around, "You don't know anything about me!" he screamed, "I grew up on my own, so I know how to look after myself!"
Zeke pushed Dane away, "Yeah? Well maybe you should have taught yourself to be less of a prick!" He scoffed quietly, "I'd like to see what your parents would have to say about you if they knew how their son had grown up."
Dane cracked, "What?" he asked, leaping towards Zeke... he tackled him to the ground and the two boys rolled down a rocky slope within the cave. They landed in a pond at the base with a loud splash, "Don't you dare talk about my parents!" screamed Dane as he held onto Zeke's collar and punched him in the face.
Zeke swung his right fist, punching Dane in the stomach and knocking him backwards, "I'll say whatever i want!" he yelled, punching Dane swiftly across the face.
All of a sudden the two boys heard a loud screech; they stopped fighting and turned to see a dozen glowing eyes staring at them through the darkness.
"What the hell are those things?" questioned Dane, still angry at Zeke. The unknown creatures darted out of the black and flew towards the boys, "Zubat!" they screeched loudly.
"It's a family of Zubat!" alerted Zeke as he scrambled to his feet, "Looks like I'm going to have to save you again..." he teased, reaching for Golbat's Pokéball.
Before Zeke could call upon his bat Pokémon a blur of red and white flew past him, Dane stepped in front of Zeke, "Let me handle this..."
In a flash of blinding light a tall yellow Pokémon appeared before Dane, "Electa!" it bellowed loudly.
Zeke pulled out his Pokédex and pointed it at the large Pokémon.
[PokeCommunity.com] The Pokemon Adventure: Kanto Region
Electabuzz: the electric Pokémon.
Half of all blackouts occur when this Pokémon appears at power plants and eats electricity.
"Electabuzz, use Shock Wave!" ordered Dane. Electabuzz nodded and held up its hands... electricity sparked around them quickly, it clapped and sent a wave of electric energy straight towards the Zubat.
The whole group of bat Pokémon fell out of the sky and landed harshly, falling unconscious immediately.
"Wow..." whispered Zeke, "Looks like i underestimated you..." He stood motionless, cold and wet in ankle high water, "So... uh, i guess we should be getting out of this cave..."
Dane nodded and returned Electabuzz, "Let's go..."
OOC: Yeah, sorry if it was a little confusing. I'm just trying to establish more hatred from Dane, against Zeke and the reason why he doesn't like having people help him.
Episode 13 - Painful Memories...
Dane, Zeke and Charmeleon, who was walking next to his trainer, continued their way through the dark cave. Dane walked a few metres ahead of Zeke and Charmeleon, in an attempt to abolish any chance of conversation.
Dane stared down at his feet and his mind raced with painful memories of his childhood...
[FLASHBACK]
"You stay here with Psyduck, Dane..." said a tall man with a scruffy brown beard and little hair on top of his head.
"Ok dad," replied the young boy with a nod. He turned to Psyduck and smiled, "Let's play. Tag, you're it!" he laughed, tapping the yellow duck on his head.
Dane's father laughed himself into a cough as he wadded out into the shallow waves that the beach had to offer. "Ya!" he called, throwing a net out into the water, "Come here you slimy bugga's!" he ordered to the group of Magikarp that managed to escape the fishing net.
The man continued throwing the net, each time missing the fast moving fish Pokémon.
Psyduck scurried along the sand swiftly, trying to catch up to Dane. But his legs were to short and Dane got away every time he thought he'd catch him.
"Neh Neh," teased Dane, "You can't catch me!"
Dane's father lifted his head and looked out across the ocean, the wind had picked up and was now blowing ferociously. "Dane!" he screamed, "The storms are coming! We gotta get inside!"
Dane and Psyduck stopped as they saw waves getting bigger and the wind getting faster. Dane's father ran up to them and grabbed Dane by the arm, "Quickly!"
Psyduck stayed where he was, he saw the fishing net slowly floating away and ran out to get it.
"Psyduck!" screamed Dane. His father stopped and turned to see the yellow duck Pokémon wadding out into the water.
"Forget the net Psyduck!" he screamed. He turned and looked at Dane, who was sitting on the ground, crying loudly.
"Don't worry son, I'll get him!" he yelled, running out down the beach towards Psyduck. He grabbed the Pokémon and lifted him up just as a giant wave crashed down upon them.
"Daddy!" screamed Dane, who was now running towards his father. He grabbed his hand and began trying to pull him.
Dane's father lifted his head and pushed Psyduck into his sons arms, "Go son..." he started, "RUN!"
Just then another wave came crashing down, knocking Dane, his father and Psyduck unconscious.
[FLASHBACK]
The bright light of day snapped Dane out of his thoughts, "Yes! We made it," cheered Zeke, jumping up and down while holding Charmeleon's hands.
Dane stepped out into the light, with Zeke following closely behind. There was a loud bang and Dane's whole world went black...
To Kevmysta: that was a decent post. I won't be putting lavander town up anytime soon as you're the farthest ahead of everybody so i'm just waiting for people to catch up
(OOC: I would've updated sooner, but I had to leave for three days. To make up for it, I'll make this a longer fight. Maybe as long as Michael or even longer(Will be split into two chapters).)
Episode 36: Clauses Return (Part 2)
"Porygon, use Signal Beam!" Yelled Clause. The Porygon floated up a foot into the air before firing a small, but powerful beam at Crobat.
"Urgh, Dodge then use Air Cutter Crobat!" Yelled Chris. Crobat dodged the bug-type attack before firing an Air Cutter.
"Use Conversion 2!" Yelled Clause. Porygon took the Air Cutter and then altered its data to make it an electric type. "Now retaliate with Thunderbolt!" And with those words, Porygon fired the powerful electric attack.
"Use Air Cutter to get yourself out of the way!" Yelled Chris. Crobat fired the attack, allowing him to dodge the attack, but he flew into another thunderbolt for massive damage.
"CROOO!" Yelled Crobat before falling to the ground.
"Hahahah! Witness the power of my invincible pokemon!" Laughed Clause before starting to brag. "I made sure to take notes of your pokemon, and now I have... the team that will kill you!"
"Crobat!" Yelled Chris before spraying the bat with a potion, infuriating Clause.
"Did you even listen to a word I said?" Asked Clause, but didn't expect Chris to return the pokemon.
"Come on out, Dugtrio!" Yelled Chris sending out Clauses old pokemon. "Use Earth Power!" Dugtrio hesitated since her old master was there. "Please, use Earth Power." Dugtrio didn't listen and layed down, not wanting to fight.
"Hahahah! The only pokemon that you have that can beat Porygon, and she won't even fight!" Laughed Clause. "Use Solarbeam!" And then Porygon started charging its attack.
"Dugtrio! Use Earth Power!" Yelled Chris franticly, since the powerful grass-type attack could easily rip another hole in the cave, and blast them into pieces, Dugtrio did nothing at first, until she saw Porygon charging its powerful attack, then at long last, the mole realized that Clause didn't care about her, so in an act of kindness towards her new trainer, the mole fired the Earth Power.
"Solarbeam, Fire!" Yelled Clause, but before Porygon could use the attack, it was slammed with the boulders, knocking it out. "Wha- Gah- Noooooo! You'll pay for that! Come on out Kadabra!" After switching out the pokemon, Clause started to look smugger, like Porygon was his weakest pokemon.
"Return Dugtrio." Said Chris before tossing out Pidgeotto. "Pidgeotto, prepare for battle!" And Pidgeotto flew up into the air.
"Kadabra, use Rain Dance." Said Clause. Kadabra then started doing a weird dance summoning a rain cloud.
"Pidgeotto, use Quick Attack and try to finish off the Kadabra!" Yelled Chris. Pidgeotto then sped towards Kadabra, but the psychic grabbed Pidgeotto's beak in its hand.
"Haha! Kadabra, use our surprise attack... Thunderpunch!" Yelled Clause. Kadabra smirked before slamming Pidgeotto with a powerful fist charged with lightning, causing Pidgeotto to go flying back quite far.
"Pidgeotto!" Yelled Chris as he dashed over to see if his pokemon was okay... To be continued
(ooc: I'm going to end this here since I accidentally wiped out the rest of the battle... but this is of sufficent length. And it's something to look forward to.)
The Chase for Zackary Pt. One
Gold yawned and stretched out as the sun peaked through the window. The snores of all four of his pokemon filled the room as they laid spread out on the four beds of the room. Late last night, Gold and the new gang found a pokemon center right next to their next destination, Dark Cave, and decided to rest for the night before they explored.
Gold quickly got dressed and recalled all of his pokemon except Pikachu. He rushed down the hallway towards the kitchen to get some food to eat and found the other three trainers already waiting for him.
"Hmp, about time you showed up," grunted Silver.
"You know, for once I agree with your grumpy brother," moaned Bret. "We've been waiting forever."
Gold ignored the trainers and instead walked out of the pokemon center with no food at all. He rushed to the entrance of the cave with the other three close behind.
"C'mon guys, we have to get through this cave as quickly as possible!" Gold shouted.
"Why the huge rush? Are you still thinking about that one guy you mentioned?" Emerald asked. Gold came to a sudden stop and turned to face his brother. Last night at dinner, Gold told Silver and Emerald the whole story about Zackary. Silver tried to act like he didn't care, but Emerald showed his concern and promised to help.
"Look, I guess it can be important to go quickly to catch him, but my mind isn't completely set on him anymore," Gold said.
Neither of the other trainers said anything. They quietly followed Gold inside the entrance of the cave. When they stepped inside, they found it to be extremely dark and wet. Gold patted Pikachu on the head and he lit the area around him with sparks.
"Okay, good job, Pikachu," said Gold. "Now I think we should go-"
"Who made you the leader?" grunted Silver. He began to walk through the cave without another word.
"Kay… I guess Silver's leading," Gold mumbled. He slightly slumped his head and walked behind his older brother. They walked for awhile until Pikachu sighed and the sparks dimmed. He nearly collapsed and fell off of Gold's shoulder until he caught the little electric pokemon. The cave grew pitch black.
"Pikachu's exhausted," Gold mumbled through the darkness.
"C'mon, we can just sit for a second and rest," Gold heard Emerald say. Gold didn't complain. He plomped down on the ground and used the time to stroke Pikachu and make him feel a little better from all his work.
Gold almost fell asleep sitting down, until he heard voices through the cave. "Do it harder," echoed a dim voice.
"Was that you, Bret?" Gold asked.
"Nope, silent as can be," he responded.
Gold stood up with Pikachu in his hands and patted him a little.
"Hey, buddy, can we have a little more static?" he asked. Pikachu sighed softly. Gold understood, but it was hard to decide what to do.
"Hey, guys, Pikachu is still tired," Gold declared loudly so the other three trainers could hear.
"Argh, your pokemon are so pathetic," Gold heard Silver say. Suddenly, Gold saw a flash of red light that looked brighter than normal in the dark cave. Then a pokemon appeared that lit the room with the tiny flame on its tail.
"Charmander isn't much better than your pokemon, but she'll do as long as I'm her trainer," Silver said coldly.
"Whatever," Gold said. He didn't have the strength or patience to argue at the moment. He followed Charmander and Silver quickly to the source of the voice.
Gold heard the noises again shortly after, but this time it was a little bit louder and a little more clear with the words.
"Do it again," echoed the voice.
It sounded some familiar… Gold could've sworn he heard that voice before.
"This way," Gold ordered, tugging Silver's shirt to the right into a different tunnel. "I heard the voice come from over here."
"What if I don't want to go that way?" Silver asked coldly.
Charmander, though, happily took off in the direction Gold was going in. Silver growled and followed them.
Gold came to a sudden stop when he came to a corner. The noise was getting louder and clearer. He peeked over the corner and found the area lit up with a lantern. A trainer was standing right in the middle of the light with a small dark green pokemon with him. It was lying down on the ground breathing heavily.
"Wow, that is horrible," Emerald mumbled.
"That evil monster," Gold growled. "I need to stop him."
Emerald shot his head over at Gold. "Wait, is this that Zackary kid you were talking about?"
Gold didn't respond. Instead, he stood up and bolted out of the corner towards Zackary with a pokeball in his hand. He held it up while facing him.
"You! I knew I would run into you eventually!" Gold shouted angrily at Zackary.
The boy chuckled and stood up. He was quite handsome, standing tall with spiked yellow hair. He placed a hand in his pocket and held the other carelessly in the air.
"Okay, so you have. Are you going to stop my evil plans or do something heroic like that?"
"Yes!" Gold responded quickly. He threw the pokeball in the air. "Ivysaur, grab Larvitar with vine whip!"
Gold's plant pokemon appeared and immediately extended two long vines from the bulb on its back and shot them towards Larvitar. Zackary laughed and pulled out a pokeball, clicking the center button. The hurt Larvitar was surrounded with red light and sucked back into the pokeball just as the vines hit exactly where the pokemon was just a moment ago.
"Hey, you cheated!" Gold shouted.
"Trainers are allowed to switch out their pokemon, are they not?" Zackary asked. He chuckled slightly while pulling out another pokeball. "But I do not need you to meddle with me anymore. I will be the strongest trainer ever with a pokemon that doesn't even exist here!"
"Why do you want that Larvitar so badly?" Gold asked.
"Ha, ha, you have no idea what that pokemon even evolves into," Zackary laughed. "I will be unbeatable once it evolves!... But enough about that. It's time to finish this!"
Zackary threw another pokeball in the air and a koffing appeared on the field. It puffed large amounts of smoke around it making the field around it smell.
"Koffing, let's not mess around! Use explosion!"
Koffing suddenly glowed a bright red, making Gold's adrenaline suddenly spike. He saw Bret and Silver run towards the center of the battlefield until he heard a large crashing sound. Koffing had suddenly exploded, making the boulders fall down all around the field. The attack had caused the cave to start to collapse.
Gold dove out of the way from the crashing boulders, unaware of what the other trainers were doing. He crashed down on the ground, safe from the path of boulders and lay there until it had grown silent and completely dark.
(ooc:This will not be too long. And I will post what moves will be replaced with what after this. Oh, I just noticed this, but everyone in this cave has fought/is fighting their rival/enemy.)
Episode 37: The End of the Battle
"Pidgeotto! Are you okay?" Asked Chris thinking it was futile, but in a moment, the downed bird opened his eyes and growled at the Kadabra that made him look like an idiot. "No, you aren't in any condition to fight." But the words were useless as Pidgeotto got back into the sky and flew over Chris. "Wait! If you want to fight, then come here for a second, I have a plan."
"Ha! Don't bother trying to beat me! I lost only one pokemon, you lost two!" Yelled Clause to Chris.
"Let's go." Said Chris returning to his original position, Pidgeotto following, having been healed up by two potions. "Use Quick Attack, but add in a little spin!" Pidgeotto then flew at Kadabra, spinning like a drill. Kadabra smirked before trying to catch the drilling bird, but when he grabbed Pidgeotto's beak, he was sent into the air and smashed against the ceiling. "Use Quick Attack!"
"No! Use Thunderbolt!" Yelled Clause, but Pidgeotto slammed into Kadabra pretty hard. Kadabra used this pause to fire the Thunderbolt, but since Pidgeotto and Kadabra were in contact, the lightning knocked both of them out.
"Two-Two, call out your next pokemon." Said Chris as he returned his Pidgeotto. Clause grumbled but sent out his pokemon at the same time Chris sent out his. And the result was Chris's Primeape vs. Clause's Hitmonchan.
"Hitmonchan, use Bullet Punch!" Yelled Clause. Hitmonchan ran up to Primeape with a glove made of steel and tossed the punch, but Primeape was able to dodge.
"Use Low Kick!" Yelled Chris. Primeape snorted in agreement before kicking Hitmonchan into the air, but since the punching pokemon was good at what it does, it landed right next to Clause.
"Heh, not bad." Said Clause as his Hitmonchan started to stretch his muscles. "But my Hitmonchan is a master of the elemental punches." To prove this, Hitmonchan launched a Fire, Ice, and a Thunderpunch.
"Big deal, that won't help you here." Said Chris as Primeape showed her superior skills to Hitmonchan, at that moment, both trainers knew that if they pull their punches, they would most certainly lose. "Use Karate Chop!"
"Fire Punch now!" Yelled Clause. Both Pokemon ran up to each other, but were somehow able to dodge the others attacks before charging the attacks again, but the one who hit was Hitmonchan, slamming his fist into Primeape, but it wasn't a knock out.
"Primeape, use Fury Swipes!" Yelled Chris. Primeape jumped in, and before anyone could do anything, the angry primate started clawing at Hitmonchan, and in a few minutes, knocking it out.
"Grrah! Come on out Arbok!" Yelled Clause knowing that his secret weapon will win it all. And out came Arbok, still as strong as earlier. "Use Hyper Beam!" Arbok quickly charged the beam and fired it at Primeape who was tired from earlier, instantly knocking it out.
"Come back out Dugtrio!" Yelled Chris after returning Primeape. "Use Earth Power!" Dugtrio fired a bunch of rocks, but Arbok did one thing that surprised Chris. Arbok fired another Hyper Beam, but while Arbok felt extreme pain from the rock, the Hyper Beam knocked out Dugtrio. "How?"
"It's easy to explain, Arbok trained with controlling the power that went in it. In all actuality it is only 3/4ths its full power, but the Hyper Beam is still powerful.
"Hmm... Ivysaur, come on out." Said Chris sending out the plant. "Use Take down!" Ivysaur rushed in, and slammed into the tired Arbok, knocking it into the dirt, and knocking it out.
"Hahaha. Return your Ivysaur or it will die." Said Clause as he grabbed his last pokeball. Chris, knowing that Ivysaur was pretty weak compared to the rest of his pokemon, returned it.
"Come on out Dragonair!" Yelled both trainers, shocking Chris as the two dragons popped out of their pokeballs, but the difference was that Clauses was Shiny green.
"Hahaha! That's right! I have a Dragonair at Level 39! As is yours, so whomever wins this clash will be the winner!" Yelled Clause.
"Come on! Why do you do this to me!" Yelled Chris. In another world, a kid listening to music, and typing on the computer starts snickering.
"Shut up and let's fight." Said Clause tired of the endless chatter. "Dragonair, use Dragon Rage!"
"You too Dragonair!" Yelled Chris. After that, both dragons fired a Dragon Rage at each other, cancelling out the blasts. "Quick, use Thunder Wave!" Dragonair fired the thunder bolt at the enemy Dragonair, but it was swiftly dodged.
"Use Aqua Tail!" Yelled Clause. The enemy Dragonair's tail started to glow blue before slamming Dragonair.
"Dragonair, use Dragon Rush!" Yelled Chris. Dragonair slammed headfirst into the enemy Draginair, but the enemy launched a Dragon Rage, knocking Dragonair back into the wall.
"Hahaha! There is no way you can beat me!" Laughed Clause as his Dragonair slithered back to him.
"Dragonair, are you okay?" Asked Chris kneeling over his Dragonair, the serpent nodded before getting up. "All right, that Dragon Rush had to have done some damage, so we just have to hit it once more." Dragonair nodded mad at Clause's Dragonair. "Here's the plan..."
"Just give it up. You don't stand a chance!" Yelled Clause as his Dragonair slithered in front of its master.
"Dragonair, do what I just told you to do!" Yelled Chris. Dragonair fired a Dragon Rage before rushing in with a Dragon Rush.
"Use Dragon Rage!" Yelled Clause. Clause's Dragonair fired a Dragon Rage, cancelling both out, but what no one except Chris expected was that Dragonair was right behind it, coming at high speeds. "Use Dragon Rage!"
"Dragonair!" Yelled out Chris's Dragonair before slamming into Clause's Dragonair, knocking it out.
"Dragonair! You did it!" Yelled Chris as he hugged the tired Dragon. Clause just returned his Dragonair and walked away fuming, too mad to do anything. And Chris, not really noticing that Clause was gone, walked out of the cave using a hole that was made in the battle.
The Chase for Zackary Pt. 2
Gold pulled his body up to a sitting position. He was shaking from the great adrenaline rush, but he managed to get up anyway. He sat there for a moment to catch his breath and calm his body down until he looked around.
"Pikachu!" Gold shouted.
"Chu…" replied the pokemon. Gold heard the little electric pokemon crawl over to him until he felt his soft fur rub up against his leg. Gold reached over and hugged his little pokemon.
"Phew, I'm glad you're alright," Gold sighed. He then was struck by a thought. Ivysaur!
"Ivysaur, where are you?" Gold shouted. He was given no response at all. Gold looked behind him and felt the pile of rocks stacked. He suddenly panicked that his pokemon had been crushed in the attack. Tears burned in his eyes, but he wiped them away quickly, thinking that he was giving up too easily.
"Ivysaur! Ivysaur!" Gold shouted again and again. He was still given no response.
"Gold, is that you?" asked a voice.
It was Emerald. Gold was completely sure of it. "Yeah, I'm right here!" he choked. He was still holding himself back from breaking down over Ivysaur.
"Don't worry about your pokemon," Emerald said. "I think the rocks split us up from the other two guys. Ivysaur might be on the other side with them."
Gold quickly nodded even though Emerald couldn't see the response. "Yeah, maybe…" he mumbled. There was still hope floating around, so he was going to accept it and know that Ivysaur was on the other side with Bret and Silver.
"Besides, that guy dropped his lantern and I picked it up. We can use it to see our way in the cave," Emerald said. The area suddenly lit up as Emerald turned the light on.
"Thanks, bro," Gold said. He was about to lead the way through the cave until something caught his eye. It was a small green bag with pull-strings. Gold picked it up and groaned. "This is Bret's bag!" he exclaimed. He opened it and examined the contents. There were all his medicine, moon stone… and his pokemon. "The little dork left all his pokemon in his bag! He doesn't have any with him!"
To Silver and Bret…
Bret sat up and shook his head furiously. The explosion had given him a massive headache and him throwing himself on the ground gave him a sore butt. Maybe he should've been happy that he was alive, but him being happy didn't get rid of the pain.
"Owww, I hurt all over," Bret moaned.
"Wow, you complaining is something my brother and you have in common," snapped a cold voice. Bret looked over and saw Silver's face very dimly from the flame on his Charmander's.
"Haha, I don't know if I should be happy or not that those rocks didn't crush you," Bret snapped back. Silver glared at him for a moment and then looked away.
Bret looked down the dark tunnel. "I guess we got separated. No big deal. I'll just keep walking down this dark tunnel until we run into Gold and his nicer brother. Yup, that's the master plan."
Bret then looked down the tunnel and got the chills. "Except there is one problem… I don't have any light. Hey Silver, it's time to hit the road!"
Silver just grunted and turned away. Bret looked at him angrily and stomped over.
"Boy, aren't you a ray of sunshine," he snapped. He then heard a cry of a pokemon coming from deeper in the cave. "Hey, what's that? Charmander, won't you please help me look?" Bret asked.
Charmander nodded and the two took off down the cave, leaving Silver behind.
"Hey what the- get back here! You can't leave me!" Silver shouted. He chased after Bret and his own pokemon.
Bret looked forward and saw the shape of a pokemon in front of him. It looked oddly familiar. Charmander got closer to the pokemon and Bret saw the pokemon clearly. It was Gold's Ivysaur!
"Ivysaur!" Bret exclaimed. He bent down and stroked the pokemon's bulb. "You got separated from Gold? Here, you can just come with me for now."
The pokemon nodded and Bret continued his way down the cave with Charmander and Silver close behind.
Back to Gold and Emerald…
"Wow, I didn't black could be so black," Gold mumbled. They were walking their way down the cave with their hopes in finding the other trainers soon. Gold had the pace picked up way more than Emerald.
"Dude, why are you going so fast?" Emerald asked.
"Zackary is here and close by. I'm going to catch him and end this once and for all," Gold responded.
Emerald sighed. "Wow, you're starting to make yourself sound like the superhero who's going to swoop down and save the day for everyone."
Gold turned around and glared at his brother. "I'm not doing this to prove anything to anybody. I'm doing this to save Larvitar."
"Aww, how sweet!" shouted a sharp, high, sarcastic voice. A girl leaped out in front of Gold and held a pokeball to his face. "You're the trainer? My little Zacky gave me a personal assignment to knock out the guy personally who is trying to stop him," she said.
"Erm, are you like his girlfriend or something?" Gold asked dumbly.
"You can say that," she replied.
"Well, I do not have time for you. I need to get to your precious Zacky," Gold shot. He tried to run past the lady, but she pushed him back down.
"Nope, you're not getting past me unless you beat me in a battle." She giggled.
"Jeez I do not have time for this!" Gold shouted. He tried to run past again, but the girl pushed him back down.
"Tick-Tock! The more you try this, the more time you're wasting! He could be at the end of the cave soon!"
"Fine then," Gold said. He pulled out a pokeball and held it up. "It don't matter because I won't let us lose to a freak like you." Gold threw the pokeball. "Go, Flareon!" he shouted. His bushy, friendly pet-looking pokemon appeared.
"Such a weak pokemon! Go Machop!" shouted the lady. A small buff looking pokemon appeared. "Start this off with Karate Chop!!" she shouted. Machop raised his hand and held it up to Flareon.
"Flareon, don't it get you! Use Sand-Attack right at its eyes!" Gold shouted. Flareon kick the cold dirt of the cave directly in Machop's eyes, making it wave around like crazy, trying to shake the dirt out. "Great, use tackle now!" Gold ordered. Flareon slammed squarely in the center of Machop's chest, making it fall back.
"Argh, you're better than you look," muttered the girl.
"Should've thought twice before battling me, huh? Flareon, use tackle again!"
"Ha, you're not that good. Machop use leer!"
Both of Machop's eyes glowed, intimidating Flareon and making it freeze where it was.
"Now, use Karate Chop!"
Machop came forward and slammed Flareon in the back with its right hand, making Flareon slam to the ground.
"Now use it again!" shouted the trainer.
"Flareon! Get up and use sand-attack again!" Gold shouted desperately. Flareon stood up weakly from the attack and kicked dirt once again at the Machop.
"Hmp, that isn't going to work this time," chuckled the trainer. "Machop, use your arms as a barrier to deflect the dirt!"
Machop did as it was ordered. As the dirt came closer and closer, Machop crossed both it's arms in an X formation to protect its face from the dirt. The dirt just simply hit Machop's arms and fell to the ground. Machop then continued with it's previous order and slammed Flareon again with it's arm.
"You're through! There isn't anything else you can possibly do!" shouted the lady. "Machop, finish this off with one last Karate Chop!"
Man, this isn't going to work, Gold thought. He watched Flareon stand up again weakly. She wasn't going to give up easily, which meant that Gold had to think harder on the perfect plan. He saw Machop's right arm waved in the air, preparing to attack, which gave Gold an idea. Machop's arms were the strongest part of its body, but it could easily be the downfall of it too.
"Flareon, use bite on Machop's arm!" Gold shouted. Flareon leaped in the air and clamped her teeth tight on Machop's arm making it cry in pain. She then threw the muscular pokemon into a wall of the cave.
"What!" shouted the trainer.
"I wasn't quite out of idea's left," Gold said smirking. "In fact, I have one more. Win this battle. Flareon finish it with tackle!"
Flareon leaped forward and slammed into the weak pokemon with all her might. Machop cried out before hitting the floor.
Gold quickly pulled out his pokeball and called back Flareon. He took off past the lady who was at her Machop's side with Emerald behind him.
"See ya!" he shouted.
Back at Silver and Bret…
Silver and Bret walked down the cave for a while until they heard a strange voice echo through the cave.
"What's that?" queried Bret.
"Like I care," responded Bret.
"Argh, I don't like creepy voices in a dark cave like this. It can give a guy like me the chills easily."
At the moment, the voice spoke so clearly and close that it was coming from the shadows of the cave.
"Silver, I've been waiting for you."
OOC: Whoa, I missed quite a bit but I just blame my job since that's my only excuse. I have to pick a few RPs to stick with and lucky you Zimvee, I picked yours as one of the few I am sticking with. I can try to catch up, but I will likely stay behind. By the way, thanks for the new Trainer Card, I like that appearance about 100 times more.
Out of the Frying Pan and Into the Dark Cave
"Lovely. Damn boat guys dropped me here. Outside a dark, eerie cave."
Yeah, thats right. Isaac Reigns, the renegade trainer who got kicked off the S.S Anne, used a old trading boat to return to the main island, and wandered around Kanto only to get lost has found himself facing yet another tunnel. As if his luck couldn't get any worse. With great hesistation and caution, Isaac crept into the entertance with Shadow in tow. The ebony coat mingled with the darkness and only the golden rings that lied scattered across his body glowed against the endless darkness that engulfed the cave. Much like he did in Mount Moon, Isaac stuck to the walls to traverse through the cave. Echos of trainers talking carried throughout the tunnel, and he could guess many of them had personal quests and goals. Most of the sappy do-good nonsense did not interest him, especially after the events of one island. Realizing that most people are selfish, Isaac choose to gun it out for himself. However, soon Isaac's well thought of plan of sticking to the walls failed, and he found himself lost and basically alone.
Suddenly, a breach in the darkness emerged. A small hole of light and hope broke the endless shadows that can covered the cave with lost dreams. Isaac snuck up on the figure, and the identity revealed itself to be Peter, his rival who had appeared to be absent for so long. Hiding himself well, Isaac stalked Peter while we went about his business staring at a piece of paper. From his vantage point, he deduced it was a map of the rock tunnel but more importantly Peter had a torch, a bright flaming torch that map or no map, Isaac could use to get out. Knowing full well, Peter wouldn't share his torch or give up the tool of hope, Isaac had to steal from him. Waiting for Peter to wander around in particular to get close to a rock, Isaac stalked Peter until he saw a perfect opportunity. Peter paused for a brief moment, his head cocked downward examining the map of the tunnel and Isaac pounced smacking Peter against the rock. For Peter's sake he had enough awarness to block the his head's collison with the stone cold surface, but the sneak attack tripped him up and Isaac snatched the torch from his rival. "Thanks buddy, see ya on the flip side." Isaac hollered as he darted away with Umbreon following alongside. Peter layed on the floor, shocked at Isaac's gesture but angry enough to pursue.
