I'm so glad 5th Gen nerfed those explosions, since they used to weaken the opponent's physical defense stats so badly they'd easily be killed by the explosive moves.

Selfdestruct was once 130 base power, and Explosion was once 170 base power. But in Gen 2, those moves got buffed to 200 and 250 base power respectively, a change Game Freak never should've done.

200 is like the strength of most Z-Moves, while 250 is like the strength of a Z-Move running off a high base power move.

Pokedex entry Ruby/Sapphire: This Pokemon consists of six eggs that form a closely knit cluster. The six eggs attract each other & spin around. When cracks increasingly appear on the eggs, Exeggcute is close to evolution.
