Personally, I also didn't like how it got a mega before the other 2 starters of its gen did. It just didn't feel fair, I think all 3 deserve eaqual treatment. Though that said it never really affected the way I felt about the mon. (It would be silly to judge an entire mon just for a small matter)
That aside, next will be my real fav starter from the gen!
