If I am correct, we're now onto the Starters of Galar, thus officially beginning our judgement of Gen VIII's latest new Pokémon.

Our first Galarian contender is Grookey.

It uses it's little stick to use a new move called Branch Poke, as well as hitting it's stick off various surfaces as if it is playing a drum.

It is very beloved alongside Scorbunny when it comes to finding which one of the new starters is cute. Sobble has it's fans, but Grookey and Scorbunny do have the most love at this time.

Unfortunately, I couldn't find an animated Grookey model anywhere. Maybe the models for the Gen 8 Pokemon will come eventually. But for now, using their official artwork will do.

EDIT: On second thought, I'm using models from Serebii.net. They should take up less space.

Grookey is adorable and may even have been my first starter choice if the final evolutions didn't turn out so umm... unusual! I'm torn between them but I'm sure they'll grow on me once I play the game.
