Kriketot does nothing, but unlike Pokémon like beldum or magikarp, it doesn't have a powerful final evolution to look forward to.

I didn't feel like voting on bidoof, but if I had to use either a bidoof or a kriketot I would pick the bidoof because it can learn a lot of moves at least, kriketot is bordering on metapod category.
